((kick start anyone? lol))
*Still with the others who became invisible, Sho caught an enormous surge of malicious energy...malicious...yet oddly or. too familiar. Doing what he did best, Sho went with instinct and darted for the source, straight in town; not before talking in Fargo's direction*
Sho: "Hey!!! I think Tass and Kal have just gave us our cue to act...and i'm goin' to town...literally"
*Sho then made way for the commotion. He was shocked at what he came across...a large gruesome looking creature standing above the remnants of human beings; the sight had him cringe in vulgarity. But as usual, he scoffed it off and leaped high into the sky...following up with a rapid plunge that landed into the creature's back. It didn't bulge...the creature felt nothing. Sho removed his naginata and backed down...this wasn't one he was going to win head-first*
Sho: "okie dokie then...I could use a hand...preferrably with a weapon"

*Will ran behind Sho... Following but not closely. As He passed the part in the trees, the borders of the town, He just caught a glimpse of Sho smashing down on... something.*
*Sho jumped quickly from its back, luckily landing in an area the Creature couldn't easily reach from behind it.*
*It was simply too big to sword fight... what could be done? Will drew his rifle, trying to look for something that might be a weak spot, but found none.*
To the rest of the group he said, "Sorry guys, no plan here! Do whatever you can!"

Fargo (who is entirely visible, by the way) began to run around the creature in circles, hoping to confuse it. Without any real attack power, though, the couldn't think of any good tactics to take the thing down.
"I have one idea," he said. "How about we just ignore it and keep on running?"
It tripped him, threw him about twenty feet, and ran at him with a speed that told him just how ridiculous that tactic would be. It was all he could do to roll to the side, his ribs aching from the landing. It barely missed his head with its large, heavy foot.

*Inside Kroy*
*Tanyu could tell the militia within the city was getting nervous. First a loud explosion, then they heard the roar of a large beast echo through the air*NPC soldier 1: "What was that? What kind of monster could make such a sound?" NPC soldier 2: "Hey, didn't that sound like it came from the direction of the nearby town?" *By this time all the subordinates were in a confuddled commotion and the leaders were busy discussing whether they should move out or not. Tanyu was getting impatient*Tanyu: "This is rediculous. I'm gonna go out ahead and see what's going on once and for all" *Tanyu easily left the militia unnoticed as everyone was busy conversing amongst themselves. He heads toward the direction the loud roar came from. He travels through the tree branches, hopping from tree to tree with incredible speed. Ninja training obviously has its benefits. As he got closer to his destination he could see he was approaching a town much smaller than the city he was just in. From the height of the trees he could easily see the rooftops. But he can also see a lot of smoke towering up from the ground. As he got closer, the familiar sounds of battle caught his ear. Once he got there, this is wut he saw: *Tanyu: "woa..." ((ooc: Just a rough concept sketch I did quickly. I wish Photobucket would show it bigger... I took some liberties as to what the flesh golem would look like but i needed something visual. Also some liberties as to the position of players. You guys may not be on cliffs, but hey, it looks kick ass. Also some liberties on costumes since I forgot wut you guys look like, except for Al's Sho. Oh, and sorry Forgo, but i forgot what your character wus. I just made him look like a warrior with a sword and shield. And this isn't set in stone. I'm not sure if Tanyu has seen the others in the scene yet. But he definitely does know that there's a large flesh golem in the vaccinity and bad stuff is going down.))

((My assumption is that all larger cities have a defensive wall, so that's what I'm going with. Also, I'm sticking a few archers up there too just so I'm not alone. )) *The loud and rather ominous noise had caused a commotion among the volunteer warriors. With this many fighters frightened before ever having seen the thing, it did not seem likely that they would be of much worth when the real battle came to their gates. If the citizens were still going to trust that the warriors would keep them safe, that was their ignorant mistake. Chayton, however, was not going to look to them for protection or support.*If this...thing does make it this far, I do not want to be on the ground when we receive it. Looks like I may need that crossbow after all.*Rather than purchasing her own crossbow, Chayton "borrowed" one from one of the volunteer soldiers, who was quite thankful to be relieved from his military obligation. Though she had little knowledge of the city and its layout, she found a way onto the city's defensive wall as quick as she could. She spread all of the bolts she had gotten from the man out in front of her and immediately tested it to make sure that she would be able to reload it without too much delay. Fortunately, she was strong enough to handle it.
She then took a moment to glance at the archers to the left and right of her. There was only about a dozen or so, but they seemed to know a bow pretty well and were each equipped with a fine longbow. She knew they might not be of very great help, but that would be decided later. For now she sat with her back against the cold stone of the wall and waited for the horrid noise to come into firing range.*

*Will was thinking fast... He couldn't see a spot to shoot at, and his rifle wasn't likely to do much damage on its own. Most of the guard from the small town had already been taken care of, or worse, were part of the creature itself.*
*He began to scna the surroundings, when he noticed a wall in the distance.*
That must be Kroy *He thought.*The defenses seem formidable... and perhaps there are battle mages defending the town? Perhaps they can be of some help.
"Perhaps" He said, to the group, "We should try to lure it to Kroy's outer defenses. At any rate, we will stand a greater chance against this thing with help from Kroy's Guard."

Sho: "That SOUNDS easy enough..."
*After that particular exchange Sho tried to think of some way to get the hulking creature to move where they need it to move...It was then that he figured if the creature didn't feel pain...maybe it would feel anger*
Sho: "Okay big boy...let's see how you like this"
*Sho then bolted for the front of the golem, slid around to where he believed he'd be meeting it's gaze...and proceeded to blow a fireball straight into it's face. When the fireball subsided, Sho was met by an onslaught of dead bodies in mid flight...that the golem had tossed, he quickly evaded and cut down the ones he couldn't. It wasn't something he enjoyed doing...but he didn't have the time to think about it as the golem approached him...Sho then leapt back a good distance just as it made a massive sweeping motion with one of its arms, and yelled out*
Sho: "Well...getting it pissed off didn't work...anyone else?!"

Brov shouted at the top of his lungs, "OPEN THE GATE!"
The front gate creaked open, and the army of about 100 men ran out from it. Brov and Gwen in the lead. The shiny band of men moved as fast as they could, which was not very fast on account of the heavy armor they were wearing.
Gwen quickly pulled ahead of the group...too quickly as some of the men in the front noticed. Gwen was on a hunt...and could not let these men slow him down
*Meanwhile at the town*
The golem inhaled...kind of. The raspy breath could be mistaken for a growl by anybody nearby, and there were quite a lot of people nearby. Most of them were screaming in shock and horror. The golem didnt know why...but he did know he didnt like screaming.
The trees all around had rope walkways connecting them, and just to its right there was a rope walkway with one of those nearby people who were screaming at the top of their lungs. He decided to ask them to stop with a gentile swing of his gargantuan hand. Thankfully the trick worked, and as the person fell all the way to the ground, along with the rope bridge, the golem watched and decided that he liked this game.
There were some men shooting pointy sticks at him. They were also screaming. It took a giant step, crushing some more screaming people below, and asked them to stop as well. They did.
Now lots of people were running around and screaming. Some had high-pitched screams, some had low, commanding screams. Everywhere he turned people were screaming something. The golem decided that maybe he would join in the fun. It inhaled another raspy breath, and then tried to blow it all out quickly. What came out was partially guttural scream, and partially some little bits of things that were stuck in his throat. These little bits of things flew out from its mouth, and plummeted to the ground, landing next to some people who were not screaming. They promptly started screaming.
The golem decided that didn’t work quite as well as asking them to be quiet with more gentile swings of its rather gargantuan hand.

((Where's the jumper cables when you need 'em?))
*Chayton heard a faint shout below her and leaned over the side of the wall just in time to see a glittering mass of metal running through the gate. They were going to meet the threat head-on, wherever it might be.*
They're insane. They have to be insane. Why would they leave the protection of a big wall and gate? To die a few minutes sooner than they would have in here?
*She snatched up all of the bolts and stuck them all in the biggest and most accessible pocket on her coat. A moment later she was rushing to get off of the wall and through that gate.*
"Insane or not, I'm not about to miss any action."

*The two Magi stood for a moment, mkaing sure the flesh golem's enchantment was stable. Then, Kaluth beckoned to Tassatul, and they turned and floated away from the small town. Kaluth knew the Mage Council wanted his blood at this point, but the his "grand experiment" could only be completed in the Catacombs underneath the city. He had ways of moving unseen, however*
"Tassatul," he spoke as they sped across the ground, apporaching the city, "Prepare for an Alteration enchantment. By now both of our faces are recognized. . . and this would not be suitable for . . . our . . . plans."
*Tassatul nodded, and with a nonchalant wave of his hand, Kaluth completely changed the appearance of both of them. Instead of High Mage and appprentice, they were now two farmers escaping the battle. They arrived at the gates of the city and were promptly allowed inside*

*Desite what it considered the antics of the meager town guard, the golem stood its ground, intent on getting everyone to stop screaming. It swept its arms back and forth, clearing the little figures away and silencing them at the same moment. All the golem wanted was quiet, why couldn't these small folk just stop their noise?*
*Oren was the first to run from the scene of carnage created by the dark mage. It wasn't so much that he was a coward but that he had a realistic idea of a soldier-in-training's chance against such power. Oren had hid behind one of the buildings in town, watching the people he knew die by the Mage's hand, and subsequently ressurected into a grotesque golem of monstrous size*
What was I supposed to do? Die with them?
*He watched as the remnants of the small town's military guard tried to thwart the huge golem to no avail. Their attacks were to small to garner any notice to the giant undead beast*
*Suddenly, Oren had an idea. He remembered his father talking about sending messages to the main city by sound. A great horn, located on the roof of one of the studies, could be used in emergencies, though most people considered it just a relic from a past age. Oren sprinted from his hiding spot, dodging behind buildings to avoid the gaze of the golem. He arrived at the study, and finding the doors locked, smashed a window to get in. Oren rushed to the stairs and martyrdom*
*The golem shifted. It was starting to get bored with the screaming game. The little creatures weren't playing along well enough*
BUUUURRRRRRRRRR-URRRRRRRRRRRRRR!!
*The golem exploded to its full height, turing to the sound of the horn. In a rage, he charged through three buildings at the study. Raising both arms above its head, the golem brought them down furiously, completely obliterating the building, scattering the shattered pieces in every direction. The golem was no longer in the mood for play*

*Attacking it only seemed to make things worse. It was simply too big for normal weapons. But then Will relized something- This was only a distraction.*
"Tanyu! Come with me to look for Ta-..."*Looking to the hill where Tass and Kal had been moments ago, Will relized their plan was already successful*
"Damn! We're too late! They're always one step ahead of us!" *He thought for a moment "If we want to catch Kal and Tass, we'll need to get past this thing quickly." *Without even the faintest knowlegde of the Golems workings, however, Will was hard-pressed to come up with a plan...*
*How would a Western army defeat this type of threat? Tanks... what did Easterners use in place of tanks on the battlefield? Mages?* "Ok, new plan. We need help, guys, this obviously isn't working. Try to get into the city! Try to contact the guards!" *At least it seemed somewhat destracted, if not angered, but whatever that horn was...*

((ooc: Hey dont forget, Deimos' character Sho is still out there fighting the golem and so is Fargo, somewhere...))
*Tanyu managed to join up with Will and Cass. Will realized that the golem was a disctraction so that Kal and Tass could get away but it was too late to go after them. The golem continues to decimate the town.*
Tanyu: "what will contacting the guards do?"

Fargo had an idea, laying on the ground in pain, his breathing ragged. Through force of will, he got to his feet and began to climb the golem's leg.
As he reached its head, it gave a start, and he was sure it had felt him, so he hurried. He swung down in front of its face, thrust his sabre into its right eye, and immediately heaved himself back on top of its head.
He'd been expecting it to smack the area where he'd been hanging a moment ago, and he wasn't disappointed. He heard a loud crash where its hand collided with its face, and then an angry growl that shook his body.

*Now that the creature was inside the city itself, Chayton found a secluded enough area from which she could safely fire at the monster. Unsure of where to aim, she began to run a list of universal weak spots through her mind.*
Eyes, mouths, back. Maybe it has a specific body that is holding it together?
*Her shots seemed to be ineffective, although the creature obviously was getting quite annoyed. It was so frantic since the horn had sounded. Suddenly, an idea came to her.*
If it doesn't like sound, maybe a large enough sound could draw it away from the city. At least then it could be dealt with without hundreds of people dying.
*She stepped out of the shadows and ran into the streets, coming closer to the golem than a ranged fighter would ever like to be. It was then that she noticed there were a few fighters who stuck out in the crowd of soldiers, mostly because they weren't screaming and running away like the rest of the cowards. She shifted her attention back to the golem just in time to dive out of the way of a huge hand swinging at another building. Unsure of who to tell about her idea, she called out to the fighters who weren't running away.*
"Hey! Sound drives it mad, yeah? If a large sound goes off outside the city, maybe it'll follow! Not as many innocent deaths out in the open and away from the city!"
*As she had expected, the monster took a swing at her for all of her shouting. She dove out of the way again, but the golem's swing send debris from the broken building flying, and a chunk of rubble smashed her in the back of her shoulder causing a large deal of pain.*
