Hey you posted! I haven't played much after I got the new job, but... I was playing Super Robot Taisen W, and Wesnoth- A free game I totally suggest to anyone who likes Turn-Based-Strategy games. Mostly though in my free time I've been watching King of Braves: GaoGaiGar (There's a naked chick for like half a second)

I guess that makes the whole series worth it? eh, whatever. sex sells. Anyway, i highly recommend wesnoth. very simple, very fun, and you can play over the interwub, which is always cool. I challenge all of you to a game! See if you stand a chance against my massive army of pansy elves! bwahaha! elves really aren't that threatening... Speaking of playing over interwubs, i was just at a lan last night playing diablo II. go figure. but i was also playing rock band, and i must say, im awesome... on beginner. but still awesome its a lot of fun if your into that type of game, but I could only play it in doses. Then I went to the halo room or played diablo to get my fill of violent gory goodness to balance things out.

Man, Elves are amazing. That's the team I play as, and you do not want to mess with the Elves, seriously. You think you're doing good at that game? Wait until you're up against a person controlling an army of elves who are all sitting in forest cover and hitting you like mad but dodging your attacks like crazy too. And if you're playing as undead, the Light Mage will wtfpwn anything you throw at him, seriously. Elves are just that dang cool.

So who's heard about the Activision-Vivendi merger? The new company is called Activition Blizzard (remember Vivendi owns Blizz). Personally, I'm kinda worried that activision is goingt o corrupt Blizzard. Some quotes from the press conference:
"[Blizzard] has yet to fulfill its full potential." Uhh, no. Blizzard creates amazing games and (to my knowledge) has yet to create a garbage game. More than likely, Blizzard's "potential" means pumping out crappier games more often. Look at Activison's games. They have loads, and yes some good games in there, but plenty in the mediocre to bad range as well.
the company will "reduce investment in unproven business opportunities." New ideas out the window. They are basically saying they value cash flow more than new or innovative gameplay mechanics. Expect Diablo 6, Warcraft 9, Starcraft 4 before we see any new franchises from Blizzard.
"Our strategy going forward will be to continue doing what we do well and to focus on extracting greater value from the combined entity." Money money money money money.
I suppose there is hope as Vivendi is going to hold a majority of shares after the merger. Hopefully this won't ruin Blizzard. : (

Man, I hate when companies buy each other out. Things always end up worse than ever before.

I guess that makes the whole series worth it? eh, whatever. sex sells. No its just my favorite clip form the show and it shows how awesome the fights look. I was just warning anyone who might not want to watch a video with a naked chick. I mean I didn't even notice the naked chick the first time I saw that episode... haha... the robots beating the shit out of eachother had me mesmerized Anyway... this is honestly the first I've heard of this merger. It does sound like very bad news though... These sorts of things, while usually giving a studio more money to play with... tends to sifle their creativity, because the bosses bought them to make money- not innovate. Then again, though. Its never really been Blizzard's thing to "innovate". They just do the same thing they've always done, over and over... and somehow make it not suck. And yeah, they've made two crappy games, but unlike most other companies, blizzard cancels their games if they don't like how its coming out, even if its almost finished. Those two would be Starcraft: Ghost, and Warcraft Adventures.

The first post on Shacknews had a title something along the lines of: "New Duken Nukem Forever Trailer Yes This is Real No We Are Not Shitting You."

Will someone please tell me what Duke Nukem is? I don't want to hear the answer "You had to have played it" or anything stupid like that. Just tell me what it is.

But. . .
Will. Come on now. Fix this.
World of Warcraft news!
We killed Lady Vashj! After the holidays were gunning for Kael'Thas, then its on to Mount Hyjal/Black Temple! If you don't play Warcraft or raid, this message proabably means nothing to you! But its a big deal!

Well I didn't really know how to explain it to her when she asked I mean... what can you say? Its Duke Nukem. And WoW is of course lost on me, but hey, its cool that you are making progress (?). In other gaming stuff I finally bought shadow of the colossus. I like it very much! It has its flaws in my opinion, but, its very good overall. Some other games need to take lessons from its "Epicness". Also new sig... but I guess I don't need to mention because I think people would notice

I play WoW and raid, but that message is still lost on me. Then again, I've only raided Kara once so maybe I just don't know who that is yet, at all. Also, the Big Bad Wolf fight in Kara is awesome fun. ;D Also, I just read about Duke Nukem on Wikipedia about the game and the character. What exactly about this game was impossible to describe, exactly? Seriously, the Wikipedia people did just fine.
