Here is where we talk about video games! Of course.
You should've figured that out on your own!

Wii boxing. I would never have guessed, but the Wii is stupidly fun. I was working a sweat with it, and its pretty close to actually boxing in terms of the hand and upper body motions. The sensor wasn't registering all of my swings though, but it was still fun. The game was also something Nintendo threw together in life 10 minutes, so i cant imagine what Wii motion sensing + Fight Night gameplay options/mechanics would be like. ..

eyetoy 2: Play is like the only game i play actualy from sony. i have friends that know how to format games for the ps2 (genuises from my advanced classes) I make some of the games, they format and we game. I mad some cool ones, not HALF as good graphics though. think ps1 with bigger pixels :S. And they won't teach me how to format :-( one of their dads works with Sony I think. i made 12, 9 good ones, 8 take two days to play, 2 didn't even have fighting (2 of the bad ones) and only 1 had u playing as a bad guy (Shocking when u get to know me Edit: I forgot Souls of the Sadistic! 13 games, 10 good ones, 9 take two days, 3 have no fighting, 2 with payer as bad guy

i have a friend at college who does crazy things with his ps2.. actually with any system he owns. he rewired a keyboard to it was compatable with his dreamcast so he could manually program it. he also rips roms and creates emulators for different systems. he modded a platform ( i think it started as a gamecube...) so it can play games from just about any disk using console. even 3do. its pretty sweet. cool kid on top of that. hehe, its guys like him that make stevens the pirating capitol of the us

hacking and modding is one thing, but stealing is another. Support the game makers!

So pirating is bad but hacking is not as bad? I really, really beg to differ on that one. But anywho... Is abandonware made for the PC considered pirating? I always wondered about that. I love abandonware so much. I downloaded DOS box on my lappy just so I could play the original Oregon Trail again like in 4th grade. I loved it so much.

So pirating is bad but hacking is not as bad? I really, really beg to differ on that one. But anywho... Not so much hacking as in, hack the IRS website or whatever, but in the old school sense, where it mostly meant you were a programmer. I think modding is okay because you've already bought the playstation or whatever, so as long as you aren't using Sony's technology to make money for yourself, go ahead and install Linux on your ps2, or add those pimp neon lights. Pirating. . . its my own form of protest. Its not like I dont support game companies. . . but I certainly don't support paying $60 on a game that is only 10 hours long, or is poorly made. If your game is iffy, don't expect me to lay down hard earned cash for it.

well just don't buy crappy games, its easy to research before you buy without spoilers

Ok, see, but "research" with games is actually just reading tons of other people's opinions about a game that you've never played, and that's not exactly the most accurate of information, imo.

You have to know where to look, and what to believe, and regardless, you can be wrong.
I don't pirate games, no movies or shows either. Only music. Most of it is stuff you can't get on CD anyway. And I also strongly disagree with pretty much all of the Music industries most recent policies, but that's not why either (To be honest I'd pirate the music even if none of those were true).
Its because I don't want to pay like $15 for a cd with 10 crappy songs and one good one. When iTunes came out I tried it for a while, but they weren't MP3s so I couldn't play them in anything but iTunes itself... which made my MP3 player a little worthless...
If I get a bad game, oh well. Its happened. Its the state of the industry... currently, every game on the market is bad, and most of them coming out are going to be bad, no matter how good they actually look... we can only hope. In protest I've boycotted EA, I haven't bought a working game form them yet, but I think I might cave in and buy C&C3 from them, even though I know very well it will be a steaming pile of shit. C&C is like a brother to me...

You bought that C&C 10-game boxset recently from EA.
