Um, Arena charecters?

I'm not sure if I shouuld post this over in the arena thread, or just start a new thread where people can post their charecters and then update them later. . . .

Drask was orphaned at a very young age and spent the majority of his young life roaming the countryside. He appears to have an innate ability to communicate with animals and it is through this gift that he is able to survive his blindness. After all, when you can see through a bird's eyes . . . .

Will is an intelegent and cunning young warrior. He has had little experience with magic throughout his entire life, so he is therefore unucustomed to resisting and using it. Outside of combat, he is rather shy and keeps to himself, often studdering and hesitating when speaking to strangers. Inside, however, he is very smart, though he rarely shows it. In battle, he is fast and presise. He prefers to dodge and wait for just the right moment to strike, when his opponent is off-guard, and deal the most damage he can.

;D Cool, I'm glad you guys finally made charecters. I flushed out the the merits and flaws a little bit, so they work for rpging also. I'll post them in the other thread. Take a look at my new flushed out charecter. . . he's kind of unique.

Okay, hopefully we'll get at least one more person to join us. I'm thinking eventually we're going to need somebody that has levels in Holy magic. Just the nature of the beast.

Katt, your charecter and mine will probably get along, due to the fact that you are using animals as am I. Just for differing means. If you advance that skill, and I advance mine they will work greatly together. ;D

Will, keep up with the stealth we're going to need it. It also makes you a valuable, and indosposable, asset to the group. As you advance you might want to pick up the disable device skill too. That way you can take out traps that might screw us up. . . .

Looking at the other charecter, it looks like you're the only one with a real ability to whoop some ass at the moment. It's going to be all up to you in the begining.

If you're looking at my charecter going HE'S WORTHLESS, he's not. It just takes some role playing to show it.

One more thing. . . .each of you p.m me with a couple of ideas as to something special that you'd like to start out with. It won't be something that deal an ass load of damage, but it should be something useful.

A set of lockpicks that give +1 for opening locks for Will maybe.

For Kat a pet of your choice maybe, as long as it isn't too extreme. . . .

Jalathas, I'm not too certain about you. Perhaps a Katana to go along with the tanto? It'd be a little bit more damage to your attacks. Say about the same as a long sword.

Well damn, Jalathas you're probably going to have to be the one that engages people in conversations too. *looks at the low charisma scores* The others aren't really a polite bunch, that or they're ugly as hell! My charecter is talkative enough, he just wouldn't fair too well in a social setting due to his blindness.

Will, take a look at the flaws. If you're shy you might as well take the flaw shy. It'll take 1 point away from your interactions with other people. . . . bluff and the like. You have a low charisma to begin with. . . .

Just looked at your charecter again Katt. You especially might want to transfer a few points to charisma. Your animal empathy works with charisma. . . you also misunderstood what I posted about the magic and the skills crossing. How to explain it. Your rating in animal mastery is what you have learned, your rating in spellcasting is how well you are able to use it. You also need at least one point in spellcasting per level of spell you want to cast. You can keep your current skills and just pick up a couple of flaws for the extra two points in spellcasting.
