Honestly, I think the evil magi are a bigger problem ;D Glad we're posting though. EDIT: Took a look at your post Sarah. Good, but unfortunately the golem isnt quite in the main city. Its trashing a little outpost town which is maybe a 5 minute sprint from the city. So you could edit, or we could say the golem charged the city, or you came out to attack with the city guard, or something like that. You did, however, read my mind about the sound thing Sorry about the confusion in any case. Its been a while since we've touched this RP, so theres bound to be some miscalculations. I'm going to try to keep the rest as descriptive as possible so everyone can follow along easily. I'll probably post later tonight from a guardsman's point of view to move everything along.

I know it's a bigger problem, I said that. But still. If I want to keep my chaotic good alignment (in real life and everything) I have to help the little NPC people not get killed by the big ol' carcass fiend....corpse giant...I've been having so much fun lately coming up with alternate names for "flesh golem."

ya, i kinda feel like helping the outpost. The golem seems like the most urgent problem at the moment.

k, well, I poofed to wherever it is, and I just call it a city anyways. Chayton grew up in a tribal area so she wouldn't really know the difference between a town and a city anyways. they're all cities to her

just to let y'all know- for those who don't, or don't remember
the thing Sho did to Chayton was a chakra- it's a chi-based recovery that heals small wounds (and certain cases/levels of poison), eliminates most sensations of pain, and restores a share of magic power to whoever it's target is...usually the energy given is in the form of soft azure light

And despite what Cass (copykatt) sounds like, we're not all domineering and such about your character. Mostly just avoid being super-unique and/or overpowered, and things are great. A nice back story helps too.

The Medieval Info thread is SO outdated... I mean, even our character sheets. They have "Ultimate attacks" listed Basically um... There are two continants, the West and the East. The East is pretty traditional magic, D&D-type universe (Though, humans are the only race, no elves or dwarves or anything). The West is a steampunk technology type of place. Longrifles and airships, etc. The RPG takes place in the East right now. But some characters (My own, and copyKatt's) are westerners. The only problem being a westerner in the east is you can't really get bullets for a gun. But yeah, what Tass said. Anything goes really, within logical bounds. The only race is human, don't be overpowerful, other then that, we add-on to the RPG's backstory as we go at times.

I'm from the west too... I just never lived in a city.

Drat, I kind of went straight there and didn't see your last two posts. Nonetheless, I will post what I have and hope that you let me get away with an alternate race. Most of the time my character will be in human form anyway, so I can't see that it would have a magnificently unbalancing impact on your RPverse. Besides, being overpowered is all a matter of RP anyway - a lousy RPer will always win, regardless of abilities or prestated magicks etc.

Man, I just re-read the medieval info thread. If it wasn't for the character sheet's I'd archive that thread. I mean it still has final-fantasy style spells... Mages make their own spells. Usually you pick a type of mage to be... Kaluth is a summoner, Tassatul is a Necromancer, etc...
