Depends on the plan you get, but WoW is about 13 bucks a month for me (If you buy it in bigger chuncks of time its cheaper). I'm pulling $200 a week at work now, so its not too draining on me. And you're right Will, haveing that fee seems to weed out a good portion of the immature/hacking/morons/etc that actually buy the game. (although, rest assured, some do exist)
Luckily, my parents dont mind I'm spending the money because its mine. I think its mostly cause im in college now. It probably wouldnt have flew if I was still in high school.

Wouldn't have flown.
I was feeling good about the Galaxies community until this weird idiot came up and started talking to me. He never went away. I avoid Mos Eisley whenever I can, because that's where he hangs out.

My parents will forever try to control my cash flow, I swear it. I've never had people asking me to be their friend, but I hate in GW when people just invite themselves into a group with you for no reason and without warning.

I'm out questing with my undead warlock, and some night elf chick starts emoting in my direction. She /hug, /shy, then /dance with me. It was a bit unnerving. Had either of us been PVP flagged, I would have attacked.

See, when I played Galaxies, I only got the nice random people. For example, this one guy saw my low-level character and a friend get ambushed by some nasty stuff that had no right to be anywhere near Bestine where we were training. He proceeded to take everything out in about 5 seconds flat and give each of us 5,000,000 credits. When I mentioned that I was gonna use it to buy good armor, he said, "No, use it for buffs," and handed me another 300,000 for armor.

That happens occasionally in warcraft. Someone will be running through and cast some buff spells on me, or even give me some water or bread (which restores mana and health, respectively).

Wow. I'm having to make my own way as a trader. But I'm not doing too badly. And I don't fight stuff anyway, so I wouldn't need combat assistance.

When I had my night elf priest for a very short while, I would cast the only buff I knew on everyone I saw. It made me feel good.

Haha go Stamina Prayer. My only buffs as a lock are Unending Breath and Detect Invisibility, so i'm not in high demand. I do, however, roxor at DoTs.

Dunno what DoT is. I'm applying for a job so I'd eventually like to get an MMO. Dunno what though. I don't think I could spend hours playing WoW though. I didn't even use every day of my free trial week.
