Yeah... the reason I think so many people join and not post is becuase they have trouble logging on. Thats why I created the Guest board... but people don't seem to use it.

Make a game, eh? I've been doing that in various forms for a while now, and in all of them, something goes wrong. RPG Maker just wasn't flexable enough to meet my needs. A Neverwinter nights mod was going well, but my comp ran out of memory for it. I've modded EVERY Command and conquer game except generals, and with great success too, but I can't make my own custom 2d art for the game, so I'm limited to stock images. I downloaded a custom programming language/compiler (BYOND) specifically for creating games, but when compiled, the games (Even with only 256 colors and 640x480 resolution) ran extremly slow. Not to mantion, it can't create RTSs, which has always been one of my favorites. I was going to try the dungeon siege editor, yet for some completly unexplained reason, it will not run on my computer (I've tried everything, patches, tech support... nothing). I was going to create a mod for Total Annhilation, but the game, for some reason, would not read any of the 3D images I made. I asked for help and everything... the only bit of advice I got was that perhaps I was using too new of a program (LightWave7, I think it was) and the game only read older file formats (even though Lightwave was the suggested program for modding the game...)

The only marginally successful venture has been starcraft. I couldn't create my own art in the game, but the hacked editor was more then enough to create some pretty cool and orignal 'maps'.

I still havn't given up though. I'm learning Flash now, I'm gonna start with cartoons, but maybe someday I'll be able to make games with it. It really dosn't seem to be cut out for making large, complex (not from what I've seen anyway), games like RTSs and RPGs, but at least its a start...

Heh, my cousine introduced me to that site quite some time ago. Some pretty good stuff. I like the matrix spoofs. But www.flashplayer.com has some cool stuff as well. Have a look at some of this stuff- its either hilarous, or its drawn so well I have trouble believing its flash

Madness is a storyline-less story about a dude fighting off 100's of guys for no reason, lead by three bosses- The Sheriff, an evil clown, and a guy who looks like Jesus and brings people back to life... Don't watch these if your not into violence and gore.

Mandness Combat Episode 1 -Very violent, but pretty funny. How many guns does he have?
Madness Combat 2 -Violent and gory, but that guy really knows how to kick some butt.
Madness Combat 3 -Even more violent and more gory, this one is probably the funniest of them all.
Madness Comabt 4 -By far, this has the coolest fights. Watching that guy wade through crouds witha a katana is simply awesome. With the sherif and jesus-wannabe dead, only the evil zombie clown remains...

FFA+- Some guy made this cartoon as a final exam for his japanese class (so its in japanese, but its written in english). Its pretty funny, but its real shining point is its animation.

The Real Legend -A spoof off of Zelda, Ocarena of time. I think its really funny. Navi says the F-word, just to let you know.

Megaman- Titanium Rhapsody -A music video where Megaman and his friends sing Bohemian Rhapsody. It made me laugh, and its a good song.

And theres a lot of other good stuff there. Its what re-inspired me to learn flash.

I think I could make an arcade game, TBS (Turn Based Strategy), or RPG, but not an RTS.

What do you use to make a TBS? I tried to Mod Battle Isle but it didn't work... and I don't feel like programing something from scratch in C++ or Java or anything like that...

Turn Based RPG-Game making things. Those are made for RPGs, but are already turn-based. You could make a strategy game out of it, I believe, and if you tried hard enough, games like checkers and chess.

One of my newest creations with PSP. I actually stumbled onto the settings to make it look all cool and transparenty, but i thought it looked pretty nice so i left it.

That's cool. I like the protoss stuff a lot, so that alone makes a good sig IMO ;D although its a little big.

I've been making Avs, like, a whole bunch of them... but the one I have now is so cool, I don't want to change it ;D
