well thats pretty cool. i didnt know you didnt have to be 21 to bartend. hours are usually pretty good at those places with bars (like the applebees up by us).
lol, me and a bunch of my friends were talking about what part time jobs we might be able to get, and i just said 'ill probably be working at a bar' kinda sarcastically. then this one guys was just like 'yeah, i can see you at the Wedgewood.' what a butt he is.

all I have to say to this is...after seeing the kind of madness and sheer unadulterated chaos that goes on when my one roommate here drinks (to the point where he rolls on the floors for fun)...unless its either a REALLY special occassion, and its in a really big champagne glass where there's not even a quarter of drink int it...I WILL NOT DRINK! I absolutely refuse to unless its one of the situations up there

I apsolutly refuse to drink at all. I wouldn't even drink my coke at the new years party when I was a kid becuase I was afraid someone would put champaign in it.
I am morally opposed to alchol, drugs, or anything like that, and I am for some reason mentally scarred when it comes to tobaco (I can hardly say that word without studdering or choking for some reason)

I have an experience like that...my dad had me try Budweiser when I was 6...it became the worst experience of my childhood in my entire existence...threw up 4 times consecutively...and had severe stomach pains for a week and a half...and now- whenever I smell beer, my stomach churns...ugh
and smoking, ugh- why?

Strangely, I don't have a problem with liquor--just beer. :: gags :: Yuck. And, sake is definitely an acquired taste, but if you get it served properly, it's really very good (once you get over the smell of nail polish remover, heh.... ^ ^;; ). It's very strong, though, so be sure you won't be driving or anything.... Although, the first time I had sake, I was going to take the bus home, but it was in LA and the bus drivers are jerks--drove right past my friend and I. I don't even remember how we ended up getting home.... We might've just walked from LA to Long Beach. Anyway.... yeah. Drinking is okay in my book--getting drunk is bad. :: getting back on subject...... while still managing to remain on the other one :: Most of my new friends in college are alcoholics or potheads (it comes with the culinary field, I think.... about 75% of my chefs have been alcoholics.... the rest were potheads and junkies) and they will come to school still drunk and high... So, if you ever want to spend every day listening to people laughing at stuff you don't understand and talk about why Jesus is an alien--go into culinary. I was really kind of shocked by the complete shift in the people I knew once I got into college. I was always friends with people who were a little.... mentally unstable--but never really potheads... I did have some friends that would drink with me, but they were mostly older than me (in their 20s & 30s) and I met all of them through parties. Now that I'm in college, almost everyone around me in class is drunk at least twice a week, as opposed to the one or two people I didn't really know in highschool.... It was a bit of an adjustment....

Alcohol is one thing, but im definantly opposed to smoking cirgarettes and pot. For me anyways. If someone else is going to do it, thats their thing, as long as it doesnt affect me. And, like if it was a close friend i might say something, but other than that, not my problem.

OOOoooOOOooo BuggHunter... If you get too bored you can go to Hathaways. It's across the street on Broad St. Why do I know this... Cause I live on your campus!!! Looks like Cyberspace isn't so far away after all.
