Geez, quit your bitchin' and just get it over with. Doing the work is actually not that hard.

That's not true at all. Doing the work, is the hard part.
Besides, Tass is in like, all AP courses and stuff. Which has lead me to assume his work is inherently harder.

In college, eventually all your hard work is stuff that you love to do. Its just all a matter of not getting distracted, but good luck with that.

AP is harder but its not like.....you have to be a god to get it all done. I mean sure its more work, but when your IN the class they just assign you homework and you go home and do it. IF you happen to UNDERSTAND the work the homework wont be difficult. If you DONT then it will help you understand it. The reason there is MORE work in the ap courses is because they rocket through the material, not really becaue they just like giving you more work. They are trying to prepare you for the AP tests at the end of the year. If you do say.....5 AP tests and pass them all, you go into college as a second semester freshman, which can save you a shit load of money. I pay just over 6000 dollars a semester to go here. I could have used that money for something else..... Some kids in our class bug acctually went to college as a sophomore instead. They took 5 or 6 their junior year and 5 or 6 their senior year. Hell even four tests (depending on the subjects) can be considered a full college semester. Which when you think about it...if your taking four college level courses trying to prepare for the test, ONTOP of other stupid highschool courses its acctually harder than college on its own. haha. Well there ya go.

Yeah, my bro did that, started college with "sophomore standing" as they called it. He still went for four years, but got more classes in i believe. Which is probably why hes going to work for Lockheed starting this summer, cause hes an over-achiever . I just cant relate ;D

Think its time for an "Over-Achievers Anonymous" foundation to start?

Actually, Tass and Katt- those AP classes should definitely give you two an edge.
Depending on where you choose to go, those classes will make it so you won't have to take those classes again. A few of my friends at the Institute are exempt from all General Education classes because of AP courses (GE as in; math, science, and english)- of course, depending on your major, you may have to take certain classes regardless. Like me, I didn't take physics- but even if I took it at Warren Hills- i'd still have to take Physics here because its part of the Animation and Media Arts Major required courses.
Then there's work...as for the workload, as Bug says, it's all mostly work that is hand in hand with you plan on doing. That though, also depends on where you go...Personally, the AI being the kind of school it is; I still have to take English and Math unless I took AP courses at High School.
What makes it difficult, as he also said, is focus- you'll get your fair share of work...but if you keep focus you'll have plenty of time for fun...believe..PLENTY of fun time. I'll be honest, my slacking lead me to staying up instead maintaining the focus I had during my first two quarters. Thusly...I have now begun measures to rid myself of procrastination...to make sure I end my first year with high marks.
The nice thing is...I managed at the end of this last week with only ONE really bad grade...English...with possibly a C or D...or even failure...dammit...ah well...
if I gotta learn the hard way...so be it...GE courses here are free...

darnit, I haven't played a real game for the last two weeks. I did some hardcore work for a change and I finally am getting my momentum back in my classes. I'm knockin 'em down with my drawings now, booyah, baby the trick really is to just really separate yourelf from everything that could distract you from your main mission, which in my case is to finish these bloody drawings! Its really hard though. That means, forgettin about gaming, tv, movies, and friends who keep pulling away to do stuff like more games. It sucks, but dangit, these amputations have to be done!!

yeah, im not really regretting scheduling AP courses, like i know theyre gonna help me in college and all, but i guess im just not looking forward to the workload, upon other things. i was talking to mrs. DiCosmo the other day about what ap calc is like... lol, its no wonder she only has one period of it... it like she tries to scare students away

THE HORROR!! THE HORROR!!! TTTHHHEEE HHHOOORRRROOOORRRR!!!!!!!! *huddles into corner*

heh...and here I am...going to take Geometry at college...
math + Al = X_@
yep...I also took Basic Algebra in my first quarter... pathetic...but it works
but, but- this next quarter, regardless of the hellish workload- it'll FINALLY BE WORK THAT REVOLVES AROUND ANIMATION...not that my previous classes didn't have anything to do with it...but hey...it's about time I got Principles of 3-D Animation as well as 2D animation, and the one i'm looking forward to most- CHARACTER DESIGN!!!
