Now Now why do we all just clam down, quoting Frank Sanatra "lets take it nice and easy."

Its ok, he's being sarcastic Anyway, here's what I'm planning. of course this is all just framework around which we can RP as we want- Kal informs Tass that his training is almost complete- and they should begin to head toward Kroy, so it can be finished. Lacking anything better to do, and knowing there's always a bit of cash to be made in Kroy, the rest of the party joins them. The party must cross the sea- its not an easy joury, hit by storms and through rocky water. We could RP it, or not. One way or another (shipwreck or otherwise) we wind up at the foot hills of the mountins. On top of these mountins sits Sho's old home, Land's End. Being so close to Land's end would be a great way for Iwa to meet us, and the two of you could do the scene you have planned out. From there we move through the moutins north toward Jin. Jin is a large city, and that means western merchents, where Will and Katt would really like ot restock. And one of these westerners just so happens to be a cop . From there we head to Kroy. Now, this sound like a lot, but we can do a lot of fastforwards, since a lot of it is just the group traveling. In fact we could just jump right from Pyralis, to Land's End, to Jin, to Kroy, skipping everything else and just going straight to the action. After all, the new members are looking forward to joining. Or we could take our time, and get a chance to RP our characters outside of battle, which would give us a chance to actually get to show off some of our character's true personalities, and maybe even back stories. I would really like to see all our characters walking down a mountin path (or sailing a ship, or riding a caravan, or whatever), just chatting with eachother and hanging out ;D That was my plan. If anyone else had one, then by all means, ignore mine. It was just a suggestion. If it interferes with any of your plans, just change it.

uh yea...whatever. By the way, nice map rendition of the eastern continent (saw it in the Medieval RPG info thread). Man, when was the last time i checked that? I even forgot how much i wrote for the back story of Tanyu (medieval version) Shouldn't that thread be moved here to the RP Ideas board?

I'm confused by bugshunting as well Coral and Demos are doing some wierd thing. Ask them about it. As for soul saber, I posted a sum up... I'll see if I can find it and copy it here. Here's a sum up of the universe: And here's a sum up of the story: You can also find a map of the Eastern continent near the bottom of the first page on the "Medieval Info Thread"

Oh... bad time to join then. I'll wait until that's over with. By the way, would it be odd if my character could change from a warrior to a Black/White mage and back? I'm assuming this is the same rules as the medieval thing you and copykatt necroposted on.

What exactly do you mean by change between a warrior and mage?
And no, now is an excelent time to join. We are about to finish a major part of the storyline, which means a new storyline is starting.

Like, a schitzophrenic(spelling?), but a complete change, like different abilities, use/not use spells, all that. The only non-changing thing is his body.

My bugshunting character is (er... was) like that.
I dunno if it would fit in Soul Saber, though. generally, everyone sticks to a 'class'- Archer, fighter, mage, necromancer, etc... The general rule is anyone who can do both is weaker in those aspects.

Well, when he shifts, it drains a lot of energy, to make up for the power of the ability. Also, since he switches with all equipment staying the same, he can only use weapons the mage can carry. His usual one is a long staff with a 8-inch circular blade on each end.

i dunno, that sounds a bit like powerplaying though, you know, like getting the best of both worlds with no real waekness. you can just switch from one to the other, being both a black and white mage as well as a fighter. how about your just something like a battle mage? some one who's a little proficieant in both? or something like a cleric, whose a strong fighter but also in touch with a god so they're bestowed with sort of a magic power? you see what im saying?
i dunno thats just what i think...

That's a D&D style cleric... magic in soul saber dosn't come from God(s).

I'll put it this way, if I sitch from warrior to mage, I'll have about enough energy left to cast a 2 level 3 spells.

How about the changes happen at random, or at specific intervals, or when you get mad (lol. Anger management.) n stuff.
