Lucky you, I go to college from home.
Mine doesn't start for another week or two though. I'm eager.

wow, nice. College is a big step for anyone to take. First few days are usually a bit chaotic, at least they were for me. Tell us how it went if u're still alive I move back next monday, but I'm already helping out with the freshmen orientation stuff, once again. I'm definitely ready to go back, I'm all vacationed out and ready to get back to work (strange as that sounds...)

Alright, so, I'm posting from my dorm room, and in linux to boot. It wouldn't use my wireless card before, but now I'm hardlined in. It was extremely hot, so carrying all my stuff across a massive lawn wasn't fun. But our room's all set up with a nice big blue rug, xbox, gamecube, a pretty big tv, and lots of open space.

Is your dorm big? The one's in Bloomfield are on the rather tiny side. But this year I get a single room, and I'm gonna enjoy that to the fullest. Ahh, me time ;D

It's a lot bigger than I really expected. I guess we saved room by bunking the beds, too.
Also, I'm at Middle Tennessee State University, which is in about the middle of Tennessee.

I have a bunk-ish bed just for me at my house. I never bothered making my bed when I used to sleep on the top. So not worth it and my blanket didn't fit right because of the bars anyway.

Fortunately, my room mate called the top. So I don't have any climbing to do.

I used to always want the top bunk, because its way cooler, but every time I slept up there it made my ears burn really bad for some reason... like they were red and itchy. So I stuck with the lower one and cass got the upper one.

Woot I'm back on campus! Its so weird seeing all my old classmates again. its like one giant reunion.
When it comes to bunks, I always choose the bottom. That way I dont wake up the person below me if i want to get out of bed and climbing up and down just to sleep is too much work.

We had bunk beds when I was a little kid. I wanted to sleep on the top so bad but my mom said I'd fall off, even though there was a bar on it. So instead, they took a saw (it was made of wood) and cut the top bunk off and gave that half of the bed to my sister when it was time for her to use a real bed since it had the bar and she wouldn't fall out of bed or something. I was sad to see the bunk bed go. They're the coolest. Except one time when I was sleeping on the top bunk of my current bed, I woke up to see this huge bug on my ceiling right above my head. Literally a couple feet away. Freaked me right the hell out. I used to have terrible nightmares about bugs being in my bed to the point where my dad would have to pull my bed apart and flip my matress over just to show me they weren't there, but I could still feel them all over me. I hate bugs anywhere near my bed.

The internet is ridiculously slow here. I mean, it's not really - I'm almost certain they just limit download speeds to cut down on pirating. But the max download speed I get is about 15kb/s. It's a real let down.
