never snows here...:-( my gf lives 13 miles away, and gets snow twice a year. Me? not twice in my life. lol

It used to be snow on the ground from October to March, here. But, now, it doesn't snow until February.

I just got a call from my bro and my Mom, a house in my developement where i live is on fire!! Luckily the snow and ice on my house prevented the flames and embers that were being blown around by the strong wind from catching my house on fire as well. Thats totally insane. As i post they got the fire department all over it.

That's crazy. A house near where we lived once caught on fire. It was during a blackout actually, and I think one of the candles they were using fell into a garbage can or something. Before then, the garage where my dad kept his machine shop caught fire and burned to the ground. They thought it was arson too, and I think we didn't have insurance on anything in there. And we're talking huge machines used for cutting and shaping metal so that's pretty bad. I was really little though so I don't remember much.

The media is confused. They don't know whether to blame video games or the song "Shine" by Collective Soul. Sad thing is that I'm not lying or making that up even a little.

I've heard a lot about it and am not entirely sure what's true and what information was warped a bit before it got to me. I heard four people survived by "playing dead." I was asking my one co-worker how the heck someone plays dead, and whether they would put someone else's blood onto themselves in order to do it. I mean, he seemed to be shooting them at up close so he'd tell the difference, I guess. He told me that's one of those questions you don't ask or answer. You just say "I played dead."

Well the thing is, if you are off in the head enough to start shooting innocent people for no reason, you might not be thinking logically enough to say "hey, that guy is laying down but he has no blood, I bet he's faking!"

that little tidbit doesn't sound like that much of a mind bender to me and wouldn't be something I would focus much attention on when you're talking about the worst massacre in US history..

and screw the video game theory. Thats pure bs. The guy didn't even play much. I was also a little pist when this one anchor was bringing up Counter Strike. Please, everyone plays it. And then another old anchor was saying he was trying to imitate The Matrix with Neo's pose with the two guns.
