and screw the video game theory. Thats pure bs. The guy didn't even play much. I was also a little pist when this one anchor was bringing up Counter Strike. Please, everyone plays it. And then another old anchor was saying he was trying to imitate The Matrix with Neo's pose with the two guns. That's some bullshit. I've wrote several papers on the matter. Here's one of my best arguments: Millions of people play video games. People of all ages, all ethnic groups, all everything. Millions. How many engage in violent activities, like shooting up their school? A handful. You just gotta look at the numbers.

Man. You'd think someone would have made more of an effort to connect with him. All the kids they talked to on the news said he was a loner and had no friends and "if I had known he was depressed I would've tried to be friends with him" and stupid stuff like that. And when this stuff does happen, you always hear people say "it's always the quiet ones" and junk like that. No one seems to connect the two yet. If someone is lonely and has no friends, and you're sharing a dorm-suite thing with them and take notice of that, maybe try talking to them a bit. But whatever. There will always be crazies and depressed people in the world, and I guess there's just no way of helping them and preventing stuff like this.

Well its a circular problem. One would think that people would have recognized this trend, but the thing is, maybe they have. The problem is that you can't force psychlogical treatment (or friendship, for that matter) upon someone unless they show that they are a danger to others. Unfortunately, this means 32 people have to die before we can "legally" treat the killer. Who generally kills himself anyways, so it's pointless.

I think that's the worst part, actually. The killer killing himself. Because there can be no true justice for the victims' families. Not to mention, as if the killer's family won't be going through enough knowing their son turned into a murderer, he also killed himself so now they've lost someone too. I really wonder how a family handles that kind of thing. Their son killed over thirty people and himself. That's got to be hard to handle.

If someone would get to the point to do that, the families probably didn't care much in the first place.

If i know a thing or two about asian parents, they would disown him. They'd be glad to burn the body.

Yo, I'm over here in Tokyo, Japan. My room is tiny, its constantly raining, I think I got food poisoning, and everything costs twice as much over here... But all the chicks in the cute outfits get me up in the morning =D

Are the outfits in Tokyo really as cute as they make them look in anime?
I always though, you know, idealized animation and all that...

they really do dress like in the animes, i'm not kidding (I mean like the school anime's, not the super crazy animes, unless you go to harujuku; which by the way is weeeird, but in a good way). i find that its either they wear their business uniforms and school uniforms or else they wear some outrageous fashions. the service people are really nice though, very kind and helpful (not like home). oh, and if you go to their super stores, its just freakin crazy! there's loud noises everywhere and girls that dress like booth babes are constantly trying to sell you something.
but after everything, i'm finally happy to be going home! soon i shall be on the 14 hour flight back. see ya'll later!

Wow, that cool. Honestly I expected japan to be a boring place. We had plans a summer or two ago to visit there, but never got the chance.
