We had an improv show last night, and one of the games was the murder game. when they asked for ideas of who the "murderer" killed, about half the suggestions were Anna Nicole Smith.

No one knows why she died yet, I think. But didn't her son die just recently too? And she was the mascot of sorts for that Trim Spa diet pill crap. Maybe that did her in. Originally I didn't care too much because she did have quite a few moments where you wondered what the hell was up with her, but then I heard she was only 39. Damn. That really sucks, ya know? Also, Will, Anna Nicole is the young woman who married that 90 year old guy and then got a lot of his millions when he died like five minutes later (that's an exaggerated joke of course). But take a look at this lovely morsel of news, if you will. This news video clip made me think one thing: parents should RTFM and actually know what the hell their kids are playing. I'm a big fan of Conker myself. Parents see the fuzzy squirrel on the front and think "oh heres a nice game." My roommate, a hardcore gamer, didnt even know about Conker being a "mature" game. lol

The story is about that, molesters can attack kids using a DS with pictochat. The news story states that the manual for the DS warns parents to talk to their kids, and tell them to never accept messages from strangers, but also says that most parents don't even know the DS has that feature because they never read the manual.
I can only read the text version, though... it won't let me see the video. So I can't see the whole thing.
[edit again] Penny arcade has the same link. Did you get it from there? well, yeah, the story is the same though.
