(almost falls off the branch) Wooup! ungh..gotta be more careful...(holds head) Man, i really gotta get rid of this hangover..." *watches the group move on*Tanyu: "Well i got nothing to do... I think I'll follow them..." *Follows the group by jumping from tree branch to tree branch in ninja esque fashion (picked up from his days as a mercenary with ninjas). Does it pretty well considering he is still bombed...* |

Katt: huh? hey wheres she going? who even said we were going that way? maybe i dont want to go that way! what if... *will smacks her in the back of the head*Will: why are you being difficult? lets just go. Katt: fine then, race ya! *katt starts running, but will just walks at a normal pace, letting her go ahead by herself.*Katt: you just be a slowpoke then, ill go talk to our new freind, so there.  *Katt starts running towards the horse and its owner, but then realizes that she cant run faster then a horse. so she just picks up a pebble and throws it at jenneva to try to get her attention. the stone hits her square in the back of the head*Katt: wait up, Sparky! err... i mean, sit girl! hehe, im only kidding... but seriously! wait up! |

(ooc: Ouch, Dan  ) *Sore from the pain, Tass reaches for his wand, and grasps at air. His wand!*I must have dropped it somewhere! Without it, my energies won't be focused nearly enough to control the beast. . .but I dare not ask for it. . .Kaluth is deadly tonight. . .*Focusing all his concentration on control of the beast, Tass begins to break its will. At first, it's soul resists*NO! I WILL HAVE CONTROL! I HAVE CONTROL!!*A bright flash surrounds the beast, creating an aura around it. Tass realizes he has supremacy over the beast, it is his to command*'Have I. . .done. . .well, Kaluth?' asks Tass through his pain and exaustion. |

Kaluth stares at Tass...he had done it. But wow. He had done it under much stress...he will not summon without a tutor around again until he has achieved the right.
Kaluth reaches under his robes and pulles out Tasses wand. This wand should have made it easier to control the beast when he first summoned it...and kaluth is surprised that it did not. But Tass had prooven himself. The magical restraints around Tass dissapeared and he fell to the earth. the wand was tossed carelessly at Tass.
Kaluth: "You do not need this to control anything" Says Kal, his rage passed. "You are powerful enough to contol the likes of this beast withougt such aid. This aid is used for the most powerful of beasts..do not rely on it for eveything or you will become weaker."
Kaluth walks into the nearby tent. As soon as he enters the tent and is out of sight from Tass he collapses on the bunk. His casting took a toll on him. He needed rest, but his couhging usually prevented any comfort as it was now. He rose and took our some herbs and put them in a small container. They curled together as the water entered the boul. A small fire leaped to life as Kaluth cast a minimal fire spell on a small pile twigs under a boul holder. The water started to bubble over the small fire, and Kaluth removed it and sat down. He drank deeply. His cough subsided
Kaluth: "I'm such a mean old mage....I got to lighten up....he reminds me of myself...the main difference is he is much more kind. He does not long for the power I did...that I do. I dont know what he longs for. But honestly....it really dosent matter to me. He is only worth as much as we make him worth..."

Will: "Lesson 2: Don't call so much attention to yourself when your out in the open like this. Monsters, thieves, you name it... if your making a big fuss like that then you'll be a much more likely target."
*Will Walks besides the horse and looks up at the magling*
Will: "But if you like to race so much... ;D"
*Cobra darts in to the nearby woods as fast as he can run. He rins right through a thicket of trees far to dense for a horse to run through. He pushes branches and bushes asides as he runs.*
Will: "Haha... that'll show her for getting cocky! Next tim she won't-"
*Wham! Crash!*
*Will ran straight in to a tent that was poked out in a clearing. He colapses the small tent entirly and the various things in the tent, possably including a person, get wracked all around, smashed in to stuff and all knotted up in the tent.*
(That tent was one of Dan and Tass' tents)

"Is he always so cocky?"
*hears the crash as Cobra runs into the tent*
*cringe*
"Sounds like that hurt. I guess we should help him."
*offers a hand to Katt to pull her up into the saddle*

*the horse starts to run and Katt nearly falls off, but she snatches a part of the saddle before she falls. after she stedies herself, they run after Will, who has managed to take down an entire tent that didnt belong to any of them*
Katt: look what you did now Will! were gonna be in soo much trouble! i wonder whos tent this is? or was... serves you right, leaving us behind like that. oh yea, hey will? you okay?

*After falling to the earth, Tass picks up his wand an makes his way slowly to his own small tent and collapses on his cot, exausted*
That old man was particularly mean tonight. I did manage to control that creature though. One day, I'll be a formidable conjurer
*Just then, a flailing mass shoots into the side of the tent, collapsing the poles*
**Creature! Come, suppress this attacker!**
*The large beast lumbers over and grabbes the intruder by the throat, holding it up in the air*
'Master Kaluth! I have an intruder' says Tass through the tent cloths.

Jenneva watches the monster pick Will up by his throat.
"Hey! Stop that!"
*jumps from the saddle and runs up, though at a safe distance*
"I'm warning you! Put him down this instant!"
I wonder if I should use magic, or wait to see what's going on? But if I wait, that thing could kill the boy.
Jenneva begins the conjuring of Fire(1), just in case.

*Katt runs down to where jenneva is quickly. then she notices will at the mercy of the conjured beast, and someone else who seems to be controlling it*
Katt: (to tassatul) Hey you over there! stop it please! call this thing off, right now before anyone gets hurt!
*Katt looks up again to see her partner dangling from the claws of the beast, and runs over to the person who's seemingly controlling it*
Katt: im warning you! you better put my freind down or else! *Katt raises a bladed glove to the mageling, as if to try to scare him or fight him, although katt doenst seem to be very threatening at all*

*Tass, climbing out of his broken tent, looks around. He sees a boy a bit younger than himself, and 2 other women, one on a horse. He hears them yelling, then a fireball explodes at his feet*
'Stay back, fools! I'll not let him go untill I have an explanation. Who are you? What business do you have here?' says Tass.
*As a sign of lesser hostility, Tass orders the beast to lower the boy so that he can stand on his feet and not choke, but is still unable to escape*
