Katt: the kind that he just had? not powerful at all, just for minor things. but i got some other cool stuff on this belt of mine, everying that a person could ever want practically. so wouldnt a person like me come in handy on your travels? and you dont travel with any fighters either, and theres Will you could count on for any badies someone could encounter. Wouldnt it be easier if we all just kinda traveled together here? i mean, me and will have some exploring to do, Jenneva wants to see the world, i havent the slightest clue what that guys looking for *gestures to Tanyu* but im sure he wouldnt mind tagging along since he just spent the past couple of hours spying on us. so what do you say?

(You can skip this first green blob if your not in the mood for reading. It's just a phisical description for will)

*Will is an obvious westerner. He has a belt that goes diagonaly across his chest, full of pockets jammed pack with stuff. In the back, the bandiler hoists his Hand-and-a-half sword (A.k.a. Bastard sword) the belt around his waist holds two daggers on one side and what apears to be a simple, broad metal circle on the other side. His armor is a very heavy scale mail, with an extended armor skirt, with chain mail sleeves and pants. He has very large shoulder armor- The one on his left has three large, curved spikes. He has a crossbow looking rifle on his waist, but it has no bowstring. On his forehead he has a pair of googles that act as a sort of headband. He has very large, black gloves that seem to be made of rubber. His face shows a cheery and optimistic expresion, and just looking at him you can tell he's an energetic person.*

Will: Yes, of course! Travel with Easterners!

Erm... Sorry for not properly introducing myself. Call me Will. I'm a sort of... "Active scientist". I travel the world, Hoping to learn as much as possable about everything. I studied the works of every major scientist since Bellnaire's times, and have compiled--

Er... Rather, I'm an adventurer. Don't touch my book. I'm an inventor in my spare time- In fact, I built this one myself *Cobra pats his crossbow-like rifle on the back of his waist* Not much else to say about me, I suppose.
*He shrugs, and adjusts his googles, which hold his long messy hair out of his eyes.*

(ooc: oh. I thought your character would look like a wuss, hehehe. So you wear like a warrior-ish armor... You have to show me a visual sometime. For a description on what my guy is wearing, go check my profile. But mainly he wears a big straw hat and a cloak that covers up his armor and keeps his weapons and bombs hidden except for the two swords and naginata strapped to his back.)

Tanyu: (Moves his hand away from Will's book) "Science eh? Can't say thats my specialty. Hey, If you're looking for adventure, we can always go to a town pub and see if there's anything to do...or kill."

"Or we can follow these mages..."

*Will turns to face Jenneva, but he talks to Tanyu*

Will: "My vote is for following these mages. I've been wanting study magic for years! The only work I've ever been able to get done on it is the few weak spells that Cass has learnt, and the works of other scientists."

*Will Turns to face the rest of the mages.*
"Ya'll gotta show me how it works, sometime. The magic chapters in my journal are almost completly empty!"

[Tassatul]

'Usually the training starts very young, Will. At your present age, Kaluth may be able to train you in some minor magic, but nothing really amazing.' says Tass.

'Well, I'd be glad to have you all along, but, its really up to my master. As a mageling, Kaluth makes most decisions for me.'

Katt: i wouldnt be able to stand anyone else making decisions for me. when i was learning what little magic i know, i didnt have to deal with anything like that. it was more of a non-formal thing, a freind of my fathers was from the east, and he knew alot of magic. he taught me a couple things, very simple things of course. he said he was impressed at how fast i was picking it up, but i lost intrest after a while... thats when i started to get into trouble. then i met will and wound up here. i wonder what ever happened to that old mage... he was a really nice man but he was really boring at times. i wouldnt be able to stand all of the lessons and the practicing and the dicipline of magic-learning. plus i like the life i chose just fine. ;D

*While the others were talking, Tanyu was attacked by a killer bunny*

Tanyu: "Die foul demon!!!" (throws it on the floor) *stomp* *stomp* *stomp*

*Everyone turns and sees Tanyu stomping on a bunny. Giant comical sweat drops appear over their heads*

Tanyu: "eh...hehe...um...(picks up the dead bunny) anyone want breakfast?" ;D

(ooc: okay this is getting kinda dumb. . .Im waiting for Dan to post, he could agree, then do the "four days later" thing)

(ooc- Have you guys ever had a bad day? You know, when you just wanna kill someone? and everything seems to be crashing down ontop of you? You have pent up feelings that just explode when someting really bad goes wrong? Something that you though couldnt get any worse? Well you guys made it worse...I asked for you not to comment on my mood, can you guys have any compassion ever? Thanks a lot...you made my day.

I'll post when I have time...hopefully soon, when I get home today. I just have one question...how was Kaluth to know that Tanyu was not part of wills party? Huh? You can all get angry at me but my character thought we were under attack. I asked for an explination also and you guys just started talking about potions, as if the flames and the flying taynu never happened. Then were all happy jolly...I really dont think that this is what would happen in real life...but I'll post anyway at home. Bughunter? Dont ever do that stupid bunny thing or anything like it...thats just dumb.)

(ooc- You know what you need francis? You need someone to beat the living crap out of you. You need to realize that you are not at liberty to be a fricking ass hole all the time. I left the bored becasue I was having some really hard times ok? But I know that you dont care about that, why would you? Its not your life after all, and you only care about that and dont have a care in the world about your frineds lives. But ok! I'm cool with that! I'll just never bother you with any of my problems and then when you antagonize me for them I'll just go along and pretend that everything is happy jolly! Some friend you are....)

Kaluth smirks, he still does not understand what how this tree squatter is part of the invading group...but has come to understand that the party accidentaly knocked over a tent and Tanyu just happened to be stalking them, or with them, or something. Anyway...Kaluth has more pressing matters to attend to. Tassatul had finished packing the horses with the supplies. The sun had just peaked over the horizon and Kaluth had regained most of his energy. The fire was douced, and Kaluth came forth and spoke once more over the dying embers.

Kaluth to everyone (ooc- I'll spell it out for all of you ok???): "It is time for us to take our leave. I personally dont see any reason to trust any of you, nor have any reason for you to trust me. Tassatul and I will be leaving. If you choose to follow, you may. We are headed to the Mages High Council. We have pressing matters to attend to...if you intend to follow, then you may, but do not get in my way. "

(ooc- That means going ahead in time ok? Just so you know, you all chose to come with us, and we started walking...with our FEET...towards the highmage council....and you BREATHED the air while we were walking...and you SAT and ATE and then SLEPT...you slept four times...that means you TRAVELED for FOUR days..it is now night time....nothing happened for the four days involving monsters incase you were wondering....NOTHING at all....there were none, not even an evil fricking bunny....that means we got to know eachother..and Kaluth doent talk to anyone. At night he read his book and kept to himself, in the day he traveled in the back of the line, keeping a watchful eye from under his RED cloak...just incase you forgot it was RED....so now were in camp....and the fire is BURNING...on and just to be even more descriptive, incase you wanted to know, the flames are RED too...and the leaves are GREEN. The sun is going DOWN, that means were about to SLEEP. And your all TIRED ok? You ARE tired...cause we just traveled for a LONG time. Your feet ACHE!!!! Just incase you ask if your feet ache...THEY DO!!! And other thing....If you want even more description...consult a doctor....)

(so dans character barely said a word the whole time. my characters wasnt quiet though. she wasnt whining and being annoying or anything, just trying to keep up a conversation with various people to take their minds off of the labors of travel, talking about anything that came up. her home, family, old life, how she got here favorite food or whatever. and she really didnt bother hiding anything, a pretty open person, so to speak.)

Katt: 4 days now? glad to have other people around though, will gets boring after a while. *Katt looks around a bit, noticing the red fire, the green leaves, Kals red cloak, and her aching feet* so where exactly are we heading anyway? i know were going to the mages council or what ever, but where exactly is that?

Though of course you obviously listen to our opinions as well... oh well, at least we finally moved on, but you didn't have to get all angry and then act as if we're all retards as if you're all high and mighty...)

*Tanyu has put most of his weapons and equipment to the side of his sleeping mat*

Tanyu: (lying on a mat) "So its been four days already? heh. (getting up) "I'm gonna go look at the moon rise" (walks away to some place with a better view)

Katt: moonrise? i almost forgot you can actully see things rise and set here. back in the west, the horizons were full of big cities and buildings. all the lights there drowned out the sight. i was really amused by the sunrise on the boat over here, there was nothing in the way at all. it was really nice ;D

(We really need dan and tassatul to post more, they're the ones really holding the storyline as of right now. so until they post, i guess our characters will just talk and stuff. thats ok though, we can really actully develop our character's personalities a little more this way ;D)

(ooc: sorry, after this week i should be able to post more often. This is like crunch week, weve got like 4 essays and a presentation due, so try and hold out. And by the way, Dan, BugHunter, could we try to keep our personal problems off this thread? Its not that I don't care, but it sure does get annoying sometimes having to read through long posts where you flame each other. )

Chapter 1: Demonic Intentions

*Will talks quite a bit. He dosn't talk about his past, but he's very, very eager to tell all of his sciencey stuff to anyone who will listen... because no one ever does. People change the subject or stop listening when he talks about that stuff most of the time.

He keeps a journal, both scientific and personal. He writes an entry every week or so... you did catch him once in the past four days writing in it. He also pulls it out and jots a quick note in it whenever he sees something that interests him, Especially now that he is in the east.

He has taken a particular liking in both Jenneva and tassatul, who seem to be willing to explain and demonstrate magic to him, although he shows little interest in actually wanting to learn. He also mentions many times that he wants to learn the physics and sciences of magic, because it is a relativly un-researched field.

He likes to talk about the west a lot. He talks about machines and weapons and technology. He alos askes a LOT about things in the east. Governments, lifestyles, terrain, everything

He Likes Tanyu. Another traveler, and another warrior. Someone who he feels identafieable with.

Tassatul is pretty cool in his oppinion. He is particularly interested in how he can summon spirits of the dead, something Will thought was impossable.

Will is, quite frankly, afraid of Kaluth. Will Is a good judge of peoples characters, and he can tell Kaluth is not what he apears. Will just stays away from him, which isn't dificult

Will took a particular liking to jenneva. Other then that, well... I won't say anything *

Will: "Kat, that's only because you havn't been all the places I have... You should see the moon in the desert. It's cool. Er... not the sun, though...

Hey, did I ever tell you guys about experimental Magitechnology?"
