i like it cobra, i figure a gas station guy might be good because he can fix things, like cars or airplanes or boats ,sutff that may be need to be used but is broken. i'll have a regular shotgun that i keep in my truck with a decent amount of ammo and maybe a small knife. but where to have the gas station, on the outskirts of town or right in the center.
i think in the center could be good, i could start by i'm working on a car when this happens but don't realize anything is going until i go out to my truck to get something and find zombies everywhere, i wont be able to get to my truck right away so i could hold up in the garage for a while and use tools to defend myself.

Ok, so, is this zombie infestation gonna be old (like, it started a week ago) or new (like, it zombies start coming when the RPG starts). I vote for like a week ago, that way the zombies have had a chance to get around and infest all diferent parts of the city. Not to mention ruin everything.

yeah, this sounds like a cool idea. but i dont think will should be a gun nut. beacuase that will take away the whole effect of no ammo, lotsa bad guys.
it would be cool if my character was a person who worked at the mansion or the lab or wherever we were navigating through. because then she whould know her way around the place so someone would have some clue as to where they're heading.

lol, i wasnt yelling, just reminding.
but anyway back to the RERPG, what exactly are we going to try to accomplish? like in most REs (al least im pretty sure) your working to get out of someplace, like off an island or out of a mansion. but in this RPG, were just in a town, and it would be easy to leave if we wanted. so i say how about we try to figure out the root of the problem by searching through the labd or the mansion ot whatever.

it would be easy to leave the town, are you crazy? the streets would be blocked of, fire would be everywhere, zombies everywhere, not to mention destroyed buildings blocking our path.
haven't you ever played RE2.

Yeah, leaving the city isn't easy, cass. That's the focus of a few of the REs.
My vote: We go in to the lab/mansion/whatever where it started, and look for a cure, or a way to fix it. But we find out there is no way to help, so instead we try to leave the city.

Dan, what your saying is wrong. Normal people like gas station mechanics and shop owners and normal cops stuff, those are who are fighting for survival in RE. Play the games. In the movie, it's diferent. The "Hive" is not in the games. I never said it was you dork. I've played the games just like you! And I know the movie was a different story, I was trying to get across the Idea of a small, but not too small, area. I'm not saying what my character would be like until we decide on a place. Saying that we cant get out of a city cause the roads are blocked is a little unbelievable. I say, (taking an idea from the RE game) that we are all part of a military outpost somewhere in the Artic Region. The facility that we were working at became infected, and the infection spread to the town that was built around the facility as a coverup for the building. The reason we cant get away is because the Military Aircraft, the choppers, that were grounded ontop of the military building, have been somehow destroyed. The only other way out of the Artic area is to make our way to the civilian airport on the other side of town This way, somepoeple could start out as employees of the Military complex and would have to get out, AND make there way to the airport, and others could start as civilians who, maybe, thought that it would be best to get to the military building...? I guess the town wouldnt know it was a military building if the town was built to coverup the building. When I say that I dont mean literally 'cover up.' I mean if enemy radar saw a single solitary building in the Artic Wilderness, it would seem fishy, so the US built a town around it to 'cover up' the fact that it is a single military research outpost in the middle of nowhere...and that fits because thats a way to keep a virus away from civilization (separate it with miles and miles of cold), AND its a reason that we cant leave.
