Heather, i got you covered. I recorded it. i give it to you some time. but i did not know it was 1st show, so it is on tape with a bunch of others shows, i will have to find the exact spot.

I never saw FLCL's ending coming (But then again, that's what I expected ;D) I mean, first all those girls are hiting on the boy, then in the end, they all just leave (One becomes a photogropher, the other gets on a... moped... and drives... to outer space...) As for blue gender... it was pretty cool, but now it's becoming a romance story, and not a story about big robots blowing up bugs...  Oh well. I guess for a romance story, it does have some cool Bug fights. |

Blue gender looks like a good show, but the one time i watch it i could tell it was in the middle of the series. I wonder when they put 1st episode on, not that i am crazy about rerun, i just like to see it from the beginning.

Well, storyline wise, you didn' miss much. That Yuji kid is from present day, he was put in to Cryogenic storage to cure his disease. Next thing he knows, Two armored soldiers are waking him up out of his sleep chamber, and a giant robot is fighting a big bug.
He finds that the people who woke him up are a military squad from second earth, that earth has been taken over by Bugs (called "BLUE") who live off of eating rocks and concrete and metal and stuff... and humans are parasites living on their food. Yuji dosn't like all of that, so he has the military squad train him to be a soldier.
Anyway, one by one, the military squad that woke him up is killed. Now he and Marlene are the only two left. And, it's marlene's mission to get Yuji to second earth alive, no matter what. So right now they are heading to Bychanar (Spelling?) Space Base. Then it gets all mushy, and marlene and yuji start falling in love, and whatnot.
That's about it.

It's on adult swim Monday-Thursday. It's on after FLCL, I think that's 12:30, dunno for sure though.

Blue Gender's series started showing the same time FLCL's started. I thought it was going to be a week series like FLCL but i guess i was wrong.
The Blue dont eat metal and rock. What are you talkin about? They eat people, didn't you notice how they roll their bodies into green balls? And they can't swim either.
FLCL was a romance story too, just more perverted...and weird... and with a giant iron...
