Strangely enough it really was a joke...anyone recall cooking up black holes?
and yes, there will be much freedom in characters...although care to note that unless you plan to start as an alien...all humans start as rogues and or lost <blank> -fill with any logical occupation you desire- considering the complete annihilation of Earth...

hmm... Maybe I could bring in BugHunter and his clan of hunters into this rpg, hehehe And from you're story, its not just Earth, its the whole Milky Way galaxy thats destroyed isn't it? Thats a lot of destruction for a backstory. Or is it that We're all still in the Milky Way galaxy, and its just whatever that destruction you're talking about messed up the whole place? And I have no problems with alien races, or creatures (aka - bugs, hehehehe). Think bugs could fit too? They'd have to be a sidenote but it'd be fun if you human rogues accidentaly have a run in on them, lol. My hunters might become non-human then. Maybe I'll turn them into the race of Predators, hehehe ;D So maybe I could work with this . But dont expect me to post in all these rpg's quickly...

in terms of that whole Milky Way destruction thing...well, wether one's character was present at the destruction of it and was blown away or wasn't present at the actual explosion and accidentally got wind of it will be up to him/her- but yes I have decided that the entire galaxy will be gone except for the outermost edges, which were blown away-not destroyed...

It could be like this (Taking somewhat of a note from Hitchikers guide...)- It is not the future. It is present day. The blackhole is created accidently in a labrotory on earth, but it goes beyond a blackhole and procedes to blow up (however much) of the galaxy.
The only survivors form the incident are the crew of a space shuttle which was orbiting the earth. The shuttle, which was orbiting the point of the destruction, was not sucked in to the hole, because of it's trajectory.
The crew of the shuttle had no idea what to do. Then an alien ship comes to investigate what the hell just happened, finding only a small craft. This small craft was the only thing in the entire area, so it had to be what cuased the massive disturbence. One way or another, the humans somehow get away, with a ship that can travel the galaxy.
Just a suggestion.
...
Oh yeah, it's time we create another thread for this RPG...

So for one reason or another, all of our characters would have to be connected.

Hey this is in response to al's characters post. I have two problems with it, and one praise. Problem one...your a prisoner, right? Then why do you still have your weapon? (thats one for You and Cass...I mean I can see a prisoner being searched for OTHER things, but they wouldnt let them waltz into the cell with an obvious weapon...maybe a concealed one....) Second problem...I know this is trivial, but can you please use quotes when somebody is talking? I mean I got in trouble ealier on in the rpg for not correctly specifiying who my character was talking to, so now I always write like "kal to someone" and say what they said, but you dont use quotes...not that I didnt understand but ya know.... And my praise. Absolutely great description, I love the detail to death...I'm going to look at this as friendly competetion.

well actully, i kinda said they put all of his weapons in the closet across from his cell. i was kinda thinking that they would take his naginata from him, and since lordsmith collects 'special weapons' he would want to take a look at it.
so that the only problem i can see, and yeah, really good detail ;D. and sorry if you werent ready to be thrown in yet, it just kinda fit in i guess.

Idea:
To jumpstart our RPGs, and to ensure their continued life, maybe we should have specific times for posting? Like, you have to post in this RPG by (insert timeframe here). Like... you have to post once a week, or once in a couple days, or something. It wouldnt be anything that would deserve punishment if you didnt follow... just something like... you're 'recomended' to do, not 'forced' to do. Know what I'm saying? Its just that, I don't want all of our wonderful RPGs (Bughunting and Soul Saber especially) to die out on us. Although, I must say that I doubt Bughunting will die out since Tassatul and I are writing those nifty fictions... ;D
Anyone agree?

Sounds like a good idea. Except for if people really arent posting cause they dont have time, then they just plain dont have time. But Im up for anything that can help revive our stories.
And just a side note, it would really have to be an all or none thing. Right now, thats one of my main reasons for not posting a lot. Nobody else can, so it seemes pointless.
