Most mushrooms are poisonus anyway. And if you're talking about fungi that's not a mushroom, then its either mold or some form of embaresingly private skin rash.

Ahhh.... the internet.
Does anyone play natural selection? I know we have some half-life fans here...
If so, look for me. I play almost every day now, only one one or two servers (I'll post their names up if anyone's interested in meeting me online). I generally play CO maps only, or have been recently, anyway. They just tend to be less one sided games (NS maps, they're not one-sided to the same team each game, but in each game, the winner and loser are seemingly always decided right in the begining).

I would, other than the fact that I dont have fast internet, and dont have Natural Selection. Other than those shortcomings, I would sooooo play

Bah, technicalities. Just play with me! I crave attention! Just kidding.
Maybe.
Yesterday, we had one of these Storm things. From what I understand (and you may find this hard to believe, but trust me it is from a knowledgable source) unprotected electricity actually comes down from the sky in its natural state. No wires to carry it at all. How this works, and why no-one has stopped it from happening yet is evntirely beyond me.
The whole idea seems entirely primitive. Electricity from the sky? That's like saying fire occurs naturally. Seriously. You put a fork in a toaster, wham, electricity. The sky though? Why? Aren't we past that point in civilization yet? We might as well live in caves, dance around fire, and use 4.5" floppies.
And becuase of our complete lack of action in the matter, I was without internet for almost half of an entire day. I had Sim City 4 to play, by myself, but still. Ever since discovering the internet, playing with myself seems almost... inappropriate. Like something only young, awkward, and devloping gamers do, a stage which I'd like to think I am beyond.
Now... I've completly lost myself. I wanted to say something about Sim City 4 but I've gone and sidetracked myself. I like that game. Yeah, I do really like that game.

And I will, I believe, leave that statement completely alone in its own special corner.
I almost (almost) prefer to game alone. Because, gaming alone usually means I'm playing an RPG, which is the best type of game in my opinion. The only exceptions are things like CS (bot (ha, get it, "but" and bot"!?) bots can suffice) and Massively multiplayer games. Like Guild Wars, which I play whenever my pop doesnt have a crazy phase and ban me from the computer.

CS I don't like.
MMOs I don't like, but, never played guild wars, so.
FPS I like for multiplayer,
and I do like playing alone, too, but its just that I've been in a great multiplayer streak lately, in Natural Selection and UT2k4.
I wrote I haiku:
HL2 is good Even when I play alone So is Sim City
And now I sleep, for I am tired. I went to a wedding today, and didn't sleep last night becuase I was on a plane. And didn't sleep this morning becuase I was shopping for lcothes for the aforementioned wedding (yes, that's right. I bought my outfit the morning before the wedding. an hout and a half before the wedding to be presice. Becuase that's the way we do it in the De Schryver clan).

I like a specific niche of game. That'd be Arcade-style, customizable/editable/moddable, multiplayers Real Time Strategy games, such as Starcraft or Warcraft III.

World of Warcraft seems to be doing really good. My friend and roommate next semester let me check it out. It was pretty fun. But mostly I'm curious to play it to return to the world... er of Warcraft since I completed all the campaigns in Warcraft III. Multiplayer online is pretty fun with Warcraft III and the new games players made are even freakier than the ones made in Starcraft, lol. But holy christmas, mostly i definately need a shooter! badly! I've stayed too long in my brother's fighting games and 3rd person plateformers and my rpgs and strategy games that I REALLY need to shoot something in first person, dangit!!! ( ) and eww, wut is up with the new eczema adds at the top of the page?

Yeah, really.
If you need FPSs, My suggestions would be:
Multiplayer: UT2k4 Natural Selection (A mod for half-life 1, so if you have Steam- free- and the original half-life, you can download it for free)
Single Player: Half-Life 2 (if you've got a computer for it) Rainbow Six 3: Raven Shield (The one for PC, not the console one) Call of Duty (Kinda old now, but still)
Those are the FPS I play. And if you get either of those multiplayer ones, let me know, because I play them online (As Cobra5, of course). I'll let you know some of my hanging-out servers. Rainbow Six also has good multiplayer, but only with friends, becuase you need a LOT of co-op.
UT2k4 is of course just flat-out shooting, vehicles, big guns, adrenaline, etc etc. Kill kill kill.
Natural Selection is a FPS, but you level up as you play. Also, there are two teams, the humans (Pretty normal FPS marines, you know) and the Aliens (Which are like the Zerg. They play like the Aliens in AvP, climbin on walls and jumping from the shadows and stuff). The leveling up is the coolest part by far. No more finding guns lying around the map, you kill to get better guns!
Half-Life 2 I'm sure you've heard tons about. Just a good single-player experience.
Rainbow Six is intense... it makes literally me twitch. THe guns are mostly the same with eachother- minor stat diferences like fire speed and penetration are about their only differences. That's the only minus I've seen. Other then that, tactical stealth action!
And Call of Duty is short, but I liked the single player campaign a lot. Plus its a bit old now, and #2 was anounced at E3, so its pretty cheap.

Hey speaking of Half-Life 2, its got multiplayer too! and im not talking about CS:Source. HL2 deathmatch looked pretty fun, throwing toliets and radiators at each other while dodging bullets. I could never play, cause of me old dial up, but at college. . .that shall be a different story. AND, Day of Defeat: Source, another half life mod, this one based on World War II, is supposed to be realeased on Steam soon. Unlike HL2DM, this one costs extra, however.
