Okay you asked earlier. . . . What kind of villians should we have. I think you can have a combination of both kinds. Supervillians as well as terrorists or whatever. Hell, for a real villian, do you think they'd get their hands dirty? They would have the lackies do the dirty work for them as they stayed in the shadows. So, perhaps we can start things off in a semi-investigation kind of way. I mean, having to find out who or what is behind a string of attacks.
In the news today _______ bank was robbed today, the sixth such robbery in the last month. The string of robberies are getting increasingly brutal, and banks appear not to be the only businesses being targeted. As the bank downtown was being robbed a gun store was robbed, as was the Thrifty Pawn down on Seventh Ave. The only correlation between the robberies is the unique calling card left behind by the robbers. Police refuse to comment on what it is, and what it means.
Just a suggestion. . . of course you can manipulate it to fit any scenario you have in mind.

Darn, Coral, you beat me to the shapeshifter idea. Oh well.
Name: Adam Asunmor Alias: Heretic (sweet, found a place to use my other-other alter ego. No, i didnt get it from Halo 2, they stole it from me. Like Wills use of Vindicator before it became a Starcraft unit) Age: 31 Eyes: steel blue Hair: Entire body covered in short white fur Gender: Male Profession: none Specialty: Philosophic thinking
Superpowers: -Incredibly intelligent -Above average strength and reflexes(not SUPER, but pretty darn good)
Bio: Adam made his way through through the first part of his life like any average person, save that he was extremely intelligent and great at sports, even at a young age. All through high school and college Adam excelled at learning and knowledge, and even spent ten years in college, aquiring degrees in a wide range of subjects, from engineering to biology to philosophy. It wasn't untill after college his last mutation began showing. White fur grew evenly all over Adam's body, and despite efforts to control it, the growth could not be controlled. Hated by everyone for his now obviously unnatural powers, he dubbed himself "Heretic" and was eventually found by DSi, and has been working in their technology labs ever since.
Pros: -Intelligence -Above average strength and reflexes, so he can fight too -Excellent research leader/coordinator
Cons: -White fur means he stands out as a mutant -Sometimes extensive thought takes away from quick decision makeing -Not able to lead others in combat situations
Does this look alright? I'm pretty much Beast with different color fur, but hey, its still cool.

I think my character would like yours a lot, Tass. She would constantly be hanging around him and asking him all sorts of questions (philosophical, hypothetical, intellectual)...
Would he have Beast's personality, or do you plan to make that aspect different?

Itll probably end up being similar to Beast's personality, an odd mix where he can be talking about hypothetical questions while he punches out a villian. I may give him some swords to use, something technological like a vibroblade, to make him a little different in that aspect. BugHunter, use Tanyu, keep the streak going. Wont this be like youre 7th version or so of him?

I just changed my character to summoning creatures and objects, and the alias to Savant.

As a warning, Dan has asked to 'reserve' telekinesis, unless someone else really wants it. If so, talk to him about it via PM (yeah, even though he dosn't post, he's actually on the board every day, and checks his PMs all the time. He gets paid $6 an hour to do it, actually). He didn't seem particularly intersted in the other aspects of psychic powers, such as telepathy. Just telekinesis. Muhaha, Dan and Dan teaming up as superheros could be awesome. A person is made of 70-75 percent water, I change that to hydrogen and oxygen, and Dan uses his telekinetic power to rub the hydrogen molecules together creating massive amounts of friction. . . . . Just for giggles I did a google search on the last name of the charecter I was going to use, guess what I came upon: The Cobra's Lair - Superheroes! ... Okay here goes: Name: Dan Stronson (no it's not my last name) Alias: none Age: 28 Eyes: Green Hair: Short, red Height: 5'11" Gender: Male Profession: Doesn't ... cobra5.proboards10.com/index.cgi?board=idea& action=display&thread=1100049785 - 33k - Cached - Similar pages

It's so fresh, so unique, so incredibly cool ;D. EDIT I think I might change the charecte and create a charecter who does have powers, although they don't always work the way that he wants them to. Say a person that is gifted with magic, yet the magic always has side effects, and almost always does something contrary to what he intended. I think an example is in order. Dan is surrounded by a mob of angry people, he attempts to cast a spell that would make him invisible. Rather than making him invisible the spell makes everybody in a ten foot circle around him invisible. In the confusion, he is able to escape unharmed.

Yes, I've been considering a different character concept as well, just because of the difficulty this character would have in communication.... I will post it once I have everything ironed out.....
I like to have characters that are a bit ironic.... The deaf/mute that develops telepathy now can speak and hear in ways that normal people can't even begin to imagine..... It's so much fun to write about things like that....

I agree, *points to the charecter idea a few posts above*, a charecter like that would be entertaining to play as well. You just have to have an active imagination, and hope that the other people don't mind.

My character is more unique than all of you, muahahaha! *cough*
But if a blind and mute person who hasn't heard what language sounds like, then how does that person communicate, even if she uses telepathy? Or maybe she picks up what language sound like through the thoughts of other people. But then, what would her telepathic voice sound like? In the other person's mind, would she like use what would sound like that other person's voice? Interesting stuff if you think about it.

The new charecter:
Name: Dan Stronson Allias: Merlin Age: 19 Sex: Male Hair: Shoulder length, thick, jet black with neon blue streaks Eyes: Light blue, however uses contacts to turn them into neon blue Physical appearance: Dan is short and thin, standing roughly four and a half feet tall, he weighs a measly 70 pounds. Occupation: Unemployed, and hating it
Powers: magic
Pros: magic is pretty strong is quite intelligent knows a thing or two about tactics
Cons: magic NEVER does what it was intended to do cannot stand not be listened to is completely moneyless tends to stand out
Dan was a test tube baby, little did he know just how much of a test subject he was. As a child things just happened around him, strange things. The grass would grow in purple, the water in the sink would appear to be blood, a young girl coughed up a grasshopper at school. . . the list could go on indefinately. He finally realized that he had a gift when he was studying for a test. He wished that he could pass the test without having to study so hard, the answer key to the test appeared in front of him. He has tried casting a variety of spells, and has done vast amounts of research on the matter, yet he cannot seem to get any spell done correctly. All spells cast, either affect another person, affect another thing, or affect things differently than intended.
