Yeah... Let's just hope nothing like this happens again.
His approval is SO low... I'm sure the people won't vote for someone like that again...
But I mean... they did vote for him twice already...

Well, the election for his current term happened during all of the 9/11 craziness, and historically people tend to keep a president in office if that sort of extreme situation is happening during an election, unless he can't run again or is a horribly obvious jackass. Ever wonder how many terms Roosevelt would've stayed in office if they didn't make the 2 term rule? I do. I mean, if people liked him so much that they'd ellect him four times, he had to have been a great leader.

Yeah, I wonder about that 2 term rule.
I can see why its there. And I know if it wasn't there, people would take advatedge of it, some how.
But some presidents do such a good job...

i personally think its a good thing. i mean, even though a president is doing a good job, whose to say there isnt someone else out there that can do it better? a variety in leadership is a needed thing in a country, especially in a country like america. i mean, granted, roosevelt was an awsome prez, and probably could have done great for 8 more years, but its the principal. you cant change the rules for one guy.

Yeah, so we get things like Clinton -> Bush
Oh well. I suppose a "case by case" system isn't really feasable.

When republicans start going against a republican leader, you know he's gotta be pretty fucked up because those guys are practically glued together.

I was wathcing the Discover Times Channel again. Its a really great channel and it'll really show you whats going on and all this stuff.
The show I saw last night had this guy go to a whole bunch of Islamic countries, and ask people about what they think about america, why the terrorists do what they do, and stuff.
There is so much ignorance and lies, on both sides of the fence (You all have met ignorant and prejudiced americans I am sure...). Even in indonesia, the largest islamic nation in the world, and also not home to the crazy fanatics, the people were so misinformed. They believed that George Bush won the 2000 election because Al Gore is Jewish (he's Christian...), and thus wasn't allowed to win, and they also believe that the CIA were the ones who destroyed the WTC on 9/11, and that no middle easterners were involved at all.
There was another thing on, following the soldiers in Iraq, and how terrible things are there. Nothing is getting even a little better, and we're doing the same things there that we have been doing since we got there...
The world is in a sorry state right now and I don't see any solution.
Also, North Korea has detonated their first Nuclear Warhead.

Basically, people believe what they want to believe. Whoever lost the election would have been ten times better than whoever won, the news is a completely honest source of information, the country you live in can do no wrong, and anyone who's not with you is against you. It's just the way humans work.

On a lighter note, (and... back on topic?)
New sig. I don't know how much I like it, but I can't think of any good ideas. I wanted something funny, but I couldn't think of anything (its 4am right now...) So I just cropped and edited a picture I found.
Png work again, along with partial transperecy, for what its worth by now.

and they also believe that the CIA were the ones who destroyed the WTC on 9/11, and that no middle easterners were involved at all. People in America believe that. Its called the Loose Change video, and its quite possibly the dumbest thing on this planet.

I don't blame any foreign contries for their "ignorance" about us because there is no country more ignorant than the USA. They thought Gore was Jewish and couldn't win. Hell, we don't even know who the elected leader is in most countries, and we definitely don't know the names of the guys who didn't win. The news on news channels hardly ever reach outside a radius of a few states, and the biggest headlines most recently was an Amish school shooting...because they're Amish...and someone shot Amish people...and they took cameras and choppers and news vans and microphones into Amish country to talk to the Amish about why they forgive the shooter and why aren't they depressed about their children's deaths. They're Amish. They don't like technology, they believe heavily in God and an afterlife, I'm sure. When have you ever heard of an Amish confrontation? Do people really think that an Amish person would break tradition just to get revenge on some mentally-damaged school shooter? I'm thinking no, if not soley for the religion factor then at least for the fact that they'd get kicked out of the Amish community.
Also, don't acuse me of making this up. I'm no Amish expert, but my grandparents took me, my sister, and our cousins out to "Morgan Town" (no idea where that is) where there are a lot of Amish people. Seriously, a lot. The local supermarket has a hole row in the parking lot for the Amish people to hitch their horse and buggies to.

I saw the Loose Change video, and i thought the points they brought up were at least thought provoking. This country is just full of conspiracies now. Either way it just piles up upon the reasons why i dont like the current administration. And when u think about it, the fact that the towers fell at free-fall speed and straight down does make me think twice.

Either way it just piles up upon the reasons why i dont like the current administration. And when u think about it, the fact that the towers fell at free-fall speed and straight down does make me think twice. Check it out: www.pointlesswasteoftime.com/911truth.htmlIts from a comedy site, so it doesnt take the whole thing too seriously, but it does pretty much make anyone who believes in the 9/11 conspiracies look like a fool. Also, www.loosechangeguide.com/LooseChangeGuide.html is a word-for-word rebuttal of Loose Change. It takes apart and proves wrong just about everything said in the vide. And finally, www.popularmechanics.com/technology/military_law/1227842.html is the Popular Mechanics site article which also takes apart various aspects of the attacks. One of my favorite debunks: Overall, it just sickens me when people try to claim it was an inside job in the face of all this evidence. Of course, if they dont know all of this information is out there, its not entirely their fault. I guess the most I can do it try to spread the word.
