I used a similar one on another forum, and missed it, so I remade it. I like it too.

I'm hoping Hellgate: London comes out soon, so I can go ahead and be addicted to that. I'm getting bored with Warcraft. I only raid a few nights a week, and making a new character is like torture or cubicle work (whichever is worse), so the rest of the time I have nothing to do. Counter Strike can only sate me for so long, as a grand total of 5 levels actually get played online.
I need something new people!

I can only recommend RTSs. Its what I play. But if you are interested I can let you know whats out there and the ups and downs of each.
There have been a few good ones in recent times, a few great ones, and a few that have big flaws but are still overally great fun to play. To be honest, there hasn't been a "Bad" RTS in a long, long time.
[edit] Oh, and I am wary about Hellgate:London... I don't know how well it will do... I mean it sounds great, and should be great... all evidence points to it being great... but it gives me this feeling... that it will be bad...

I know what you're saying about Hellgate. I want it to be good so hard, but some of the things I've seen have pointed in not so good directions. I'm certainly not going to pre-order it or anything that drastic. Like (nearly) every gameing purchase, I'm going to wait and see what the game websites have to say about it.
I guess I like it because it seems different from whats out at the moment. I really enjoyed the action-rpg style of Diablo because, while you still get the neatness of roleplaying and choosing your statpoints and all that, its not turn based, nor is it methodical like WoW. I also liked it because getting a character to 90ish didnt take days of play time (i got my WoW char to 60 in 15 days of playtime, I can get a diablo character to 90 in a week real time)
I guess to reiterate, I'm looking for something new. I feel like I've done everything I really want to in Warcraft by getting one character to 60 (most people have at least 2 it seems), and, while having another character at 60 would be great, leveling to 60 isn't fun for me, and why do it if it isnt fun? Counter Strike is great, but I burn out too quickly. A hour or two, and it gets boring.
Bah, I'm ranting. 2007 looks promising, and I suppose I have The Burning Crusade to look forward too.

I play DDR, I've been playing Freedom Fighters on PS2 (found it in the bargain bin, can't get better then that)
Other then that, I am going from RTS to RTS... most recently, Company of Heroes and Battle for Middle Earth. I can't really recommend Battle for Middle Earth, but Company of Heroes is a great game, it has a lot of flaws holding it back, but, give it a few patches... and if all goes well, they'll have the best RTS in recent times on their hands.
As for something new, I really need something new too. I just finished freedom fighters and now I'm back to playing stuff I've beaten/worn out.
I would like to take this time to point out RTS makers are the most oblivious idiots ever, and still refuse to include an editor like Starcraft/Warcraft in ANY RTS. Come on. Everybody knows, that's what really made those two last so long.

I despise the Battle for Middle Earth with a passion... The voices command me to... except the ones speaking Spanish...

Why's that?
Yeah, like I said, I can't recommend it. It had some really great ideas, that could've really benefited the genre as a whole, but the game overall was done poorly, so none of them caught on.

I'd do the whole DDR thing, but when I get home from wrestling, I want a nice, sit-down-in-your-chair-and-relax game.
