There's a little post date thingy above each post. Also, I love the emo song! It's great every time I hear it!

I found something cool today. Not everyone will appreciate it though since it has to do with an anime...artist...creator...guy. Anyways! You won't be able to read the link at all because it's in full-on Japanese characters, but there's a really awesome drawing of a giant copper clock Miyazaki designed to be built on top of a building in Japan. It's such a sweet looking clock too. www.ghibli.jp/10info/000389.html#moreA different site said that he wants to build the clock so that there's something to remember him by after everyone has forgotten about his animation (which I hope never happens).

That's pretty cool. It looks like some sort of bizzare fantasy village with legs.

Wut are you talking about?! Miyazaki isn't just some anime artist guy, HE'S ONE OF THE GREATEST ARTISTS OF OUR AGE!!! The man is brilliant! Insane, but brilliant!! Boy, does he have a thing for putting legs on everything. He's the one who did Spirited Away and Howl's Moving Castle. Thats some dang good stuff. He's one of the only few people who have managed to get me to keep any faith in anime.

I know who Miyazaki is, and I love his work. My Neighbor Totoro was literally the first piece of anime I ever saw, and that was when I was around 5 years old. I love Kiki's Delivery Service, Nausicaa and the Valley of the Wind, Princess Mononoke, and Spirited Away. And I love the look of that clock too. I just didn't know what anime artists are called.

lol...oh Miyazaki... we had a whole discussion on him and the worth of anime over here...I like his stuff, although not all of its my cup of tea. However, I do love Porco Rosso and Nausicaa...
thankfully regular broadcast anime is getting better with time now in terms of overall animation

That is a damn sweet clock design, whether or not you like Miyazaki, in my opinion. ;D

I haven't seen enough of his stuff to comment. I didn't like my neibor (I can never spell that) totoro though.
And the clock is weird.

I also love his movies because there's never really any sort of real love stories in them. Even if you think two of the characters are going to get together, it never happens, or the guy ends up being a river spirit instead of a human.
