I really loved Howl's Moving Castle cus you never really get many movies that portray old people in a positive light.

Well, nothing that Rumiko Takahashi does anyway (Ranma artist). But Miyazaki's movies always have some sort of awesome older person in them. Like..um...Lord Yupa from Nausicaa. He was the most badass swordsman in the whole land. I mean, there were dudes in tanks who freaked out and ran when they saw that Yupa was coming. You can't get anymore badass than that. ;D

Double-post, sorry. Ok, I'm assuming we all know that MTV sucks. Well, my sister has the rerun of the MTV movie awards on right now, and there was some band I've never seen or heard of (don't even know their name) that dressed up like Star Wars characters. It was sweet, I swear. The singer was Darth Vader, the drummer was Chewbacca, the three guys on string instruments were dressed like higher-ups in the Empirial Army (like Tarkin and them), the funky keyboard soundFX guy was a Jedi, Boba Fett was on piano, and the three female back-up singers were dressed up as Rebel pilots. It was excellent! Edit: Man! Samuel L. Jackson is presenting the movie of the year award, and he says (loosely quoted): "I'm going to be winning this award next year for Snakes on a Plane. That may seem a little cocky, but I guarantee Snakes on a Plane will beat every other movie. New James Bond movie? No snakes in that. Shrek 3? Green...but not a snake. The only way Snakes on a Plane could lose is if I made another movie called More Motherfucking Snakes on More Motherfucking Planes."

Samuel Jackson is the man!! When he gave that speach i couldn't stop laughing.
That singer who had his whole band in Starwars outfits, well i forgot his first name, but his last name is Barkeley. The video for that song is pretty psychadelic, its all interchanging ink blots. I also liked the song that other rock band played.
I actually liked this MTV Movie Awards this season. Really funny and a good line-up of movies, and all the bands that played were actually good. The movie spoofs this time can never beat the ones Jack Black were in but oh well. And Jessica Alba is HHHHHot....

I loved the movie spoofs Jack Black was in! LotR was one of them, and it was awesome. I did like the DaVinci Code spoof though just for the part where Andy Dick is whipping himself (like in the movie) and saying "Whip it! Whip it good!"

Gnarles Barkely. I think his gimmick is that the band always dresses up in differnent costumes for wherever theyre playing.
My uncle built his own stormtrooper suit. Other than the helmut, he had to buy that. I wish I could get it, or at least some pics. Hes as big as I am, so i could totally wear it. . . like to the mall.

I think wearing costumes is fun. It'd be halloween at every music gig!
Oh yeah, the DaVinci Code spoof was really funny. And I loved the museum of past movie award hosts, that was neat.
Hey Adam, u should make a Chewbacca outfit, you're big enough for it, hehe.

I like to dress up also. It's just fun dressing as something you aren't and could possibly never be. ;D

I could totally rock the Chewie outfit. I've got to work on my growl though.

Chewie looks pretty awesome playing drums. The instrument is very well suited for Wookiees. Man, I'd want a Jedi costume and the rebel pilot costume...but only if I can have a REAL LIVE WORKING X-wing!! ;D
