[Tassatul]

Adam looked from the jester to the little girl, then back again. Something was not right here. The jester was oozing happiness and joy, the little girl had just been rescued from what probably would have resulted in her death. . . and she really didn't seem to care. To Adam, it seemed like the child felt she could have handled the situation. Either she was very delusional. . . or very powerful.

"My name is Adam, jester, and I am an alchemist. I don't know anyone else here, but they appear to be able to handle themselves in a fight."

"As for you, little girl. Do you have a name?"

Everything had finally settled...and once a clear view was available, Cirrus lowered his head and took a breath. With that, his last two imps and his hammer disintegrated into clouds light charcoal...

However, before he could say anything...a conversation seemed to had gotten started..so he waited until he could step in...Once there was a bit of a pause, he raised a finger and spoke

"Erm..I guess for formalities sake...name's Cirrus, I'm a Journeyman of the Artists Guild and was responsible for the little stone creatures you may have come across...uuuh...pleasure to meet all of ya'"

He then looked about at this rather odd mix of people, and quickly thought to himself...

"maybe I shouldn't have said anything"

((lol, sorry. But man, that girl is even tougher than wut i made ))

Egakino jumps back from the little girl's comment, "What? That hurts! I'll have you know I made this suit myself. My, my, this little girl has a sharp tongue. Didn't your mother ever teach you how to be polite? No wait... now I'm being mean. Please forgive me... Here, have a duckie!"

Tosses a small toy duckie to the girl.

"Oh, and pleased to meet you Adam. And pleased to meet you Cirrus." He shakes their hands happily. And no kidding, an Alchemist you say? I think I've heard of your kind somewhere. And from the Artist Guild? I think we had a member or two who was from that guild at some point in the circus. Thats really great to hear!"

[Jalathas]

She caught the duck, looked oddly at it, then slipped it into a pocket in her dress. "My name is Safra. Anything else is none of your concern."

Will eased up a bit, letting his guard down. He no longer felt the situation would end in a second battle, although he was still uneasy about this "girl"- whom he believed was not human. Will has found that the most evil of evils are always those that look the fairest, yet feel the darkest.

Still, he also knew first impression were often wrong and decided to give everyone here a chance at least. He has, after all, taken some unsavory company in the past.

"I am William, and as Safra has already pointed out, I am an Engineer. I come from the distant lands of Mecharyne."

"Mecharyne, eh? How interesting! Well thats one place i haven't been to yet!" A majority of the group has introduced themselves, even the nasty little girl. "Oh wait, where are my manners... I forgot to introduce myself!"

He then jumps onto a small pedestal that the others didn't realize was there a second ago. Spotlights from undefined sources shine upon the Jester. How dramatic, "Ladies and gentlemen, my name is Egakino! World class entertainer and member of the Shining Mask travelling circus!" Small fireworks light up behind him. After the little show he then jumps down from the pedestal.

"Here, a discount coupon for all of you for when you'd like to visit us." ;D He then proceeds to hand out vouchers to everyone present. Even the knocked out Cardinals, and the few townsfolk who came out of hiding and were wondering what was going on.

Nenet looked at each person in turn as they introduced themselves. The jester, though charming to some, made her feel very uncomfortable due to his excess of charisma and her lack of human interaction throughout her life. She was unsure of whether she should introduce herself since she had not joined the fight, but she decided that introducing herself would be a good way to possibly find business with any of the people. She placed a hand on her chest.

"Nenet, from the deserts," she said, and added, "I travel everywhere."

"Pleased to meet you Nenet!" Egakino grabs her hand and shakes it up and down. "Hey I travel everywhere too! Why there's something we have in common already. Here, have a coupon"

Nenet quickly pulled her hand back, eyes wide with shock and moderate irritation. Remembering past instances, she supressed the sudden urge to attack that was welling up in her and instead turned to the child.

"These men were after you. Why?" she asked.

Safra looked at Nenet and sighed. "They attacked me because I'm a threat to them. People like that use fear to gain power, and I wasn't scared of them. They didn't like that, because if I'm not scared, maybe others might stand up to them. They're fools."

Avroz stared down at the bowl of soup before him and the books he balanced it on, and couldn't help but laugh as he saw his attire and the situation was again brought into his mind. He was dressed in the black robes of a dark magician, something people should fear. And the row of ivory skull amulets he used as buttons down the ripped robe were only meant to show the wearer was a living walking legendary oath to the dark divine. Yet almost all of his life, ever since he stumbled across the small brass cage at his belt, he had been a coward. He was never anything more than that. He was pathedic. Here he was, hiding in an extremely dark alley behind a sheet. All because he was afraid, no, terrified of the thugs and rogues and children with stones that may wait beyond. He had nothing to do but wait for true darkness to sweep over the land so that he could forage for food to last another day. Just to assure his fears, he looked just beyond the sheet expecting bandits of all types and saw a group of people, not nine feet away. He leaned in to get a closer look when he lost balance and fell out of the alley, spilling his soup and scattering his books across the ground. "Pardon me, please don't mind my presence," He said shakily, picking up the books and kicking the bowl, "I'm so sorry to intrude on your personal space." He examined everyone carefully. "You're not thugs are you? Or bandits? I'm afraid I have nothing to give, but take anything, just please don't hurt me or take this!" He tugged at the cage at his belt and hid behind the corner of his alley, keeping half of his face in view.

((oh thank goodness, i thought i read the wrong rules! i was getting worried because that was the only set i found! This board seems more organized than my old rpg group was, maybe I can get the members to come over here!))

((Feel Free. We always appreciate new members, and though we only have about 7 active members or so, we generally post at least once every day, so don't think we're dead! In fact, I am in the process of overhauling the board.))
