((Well im bored. Ill just jump into a meaningless dream sequence. Well, maybe not meaningless))
*Tass lies asleep in one of the many vacant rooms in the Inn. He rolls back and forth in a restless slumber. He starts dreaming*
*Everywhere is black. Nothing exists. Then, Tass appears. Strangely, Tass sees himslef from afar, not in his own body. He is holding the new staff. Only, its is not a staff anymore, it is a large snake*
*The snake coils in his hand, poising to strike. Its large, red eyes glare at him. Tass wants to let go of the snake, but cannot control himself. The snake strikes, leaving two large holes in Tass's arm. He slumps to the floor, realeasing the snake*
*It slithers away. Suddenly there is more than blackness. A large cave forms around Tass's body. The snake arches up, then molds upward into the Demon. It laughs in conjtemplation of its evils. But then, it pulls out the soul saber. It has taken the form of a large orange scythe*
*Tass rises, and lightining shoots from his outsctretched fingers at the demon. Wailing, it falls to the ground, only now it is Kaluth*
*Tass awakes with a start, shaking with cold sweat*

*Jenneva lies awake in one of the Inn's rooms she was supposed to share with Katt. Katt, on the other hand, was at the moment sneaking around, trying to plot revenge against the kids. Friendly fun, of course.*
*Staring at the ceiling, she dazes off, half asleep, half not. Suddenly, she remembers the book she had in her pack. Tumbling out of bed, she lights a lamp and goes downstairs to retrieve the bag. Taking it back to her room, she locks the door and curls up in a corner.*
*Opening to the first page, she is puzzled to see that it is blank.*
"What the..."
*As she moves the lamp closer and the firelight spills onto the page, words start appearing, reverse fading onto the page in a strange language that Jenneva fortunately recognizes.*
*Reading the first spell, she recognizes it as a spell for smite. If directed toward a person with good alignment, it would need to be evil magic; and vice versa for the opposite.*
"Well, doesn't that seem just a little complicated," she mumbled to herself, thumbing through the pages. It didn't take her long to realize that the pages would only appear under firelight. It made her wonder whether sunlight would work or not.*
*The next time she looked up from the book, Jenneva realized she had been unconciously memorizing the spells that did appear, and that the night had passed by. Looking out the window, she saw the sun rising off to the east. To her surprsise, Katt was in the bed. No where in the night had Jenneva remembered her entering.*
*Snuffing the candle, Jenneva hid the book in her bag and shoved it under her pillow before crawling into bed for at least a few minutes sleep.*
This book is a mystery. Why does it not show its writing unless under sunlight? And, these spells seem so complex. Admittedly, there are easy ones, but...I wonder if I have the strength to accomplish this? If only I had someone like Tass has Kal. I am left to navigate this on my own. Tassatul does not understand how lucky he is to have a guardian to teach him.
*Jenneva quickly succumbed to sleep, thinking jealously of Tass's guardian but also realizing that she did not trust Kaluth. Building on these thoughts was impossible as...sleep...came...*

Katt: hehehe, alright, that kids gonna get it *katt sneaks to the kids door and tries to go in, but its locked. the kids knew i was coming! ... no matter, just a little pick... and it opens up. without a slightest sound. she opens the door and sneaks in, just as quiet*Kid 1: hey, you hear that? kid 2: hear what? dont start this again, its just your imagination, get some sleep. *katts just sitting in the corner, between the dresser and the wall, pillow in hand. the kids dont even know shes sitting there.*Katt: oh yeah, their gonna get it... *she runs out and starts pummeling the kids with pillows, which ends up in a full out war. but after a while their mother comes in and they all get in trouble for not being in bed... so katt heads back to her room...*Katt: makes me miss home, all of the kids... oh well... seems like that life is gone now anyway... *katt walks in the room she supposed to be staying in, and sees jenneva sitting there. she looks kinda deeps in though, and doesnt even notice katt*Katt: hey, you okay? Jenneva: (no response) Katt: huh... you mages... never will understand the east i guess. *katt spends a long time looking out the window at the night sky and thinking before heading to bed. mostly about home and how the hell she ended up in the eastern contenent*Katt: night jenneva... still no response? sparky? hello? ah whatever, goodnight. ((well what do you know, i was bored too. up late watching these weird new shows on cartoon network...  )) |

*It's getting late. After several death threats, exasperated sighs, and personal insults, Kal went in to his tent and refused to comunicate with will any farther. Will spent the rest of the night alone, sometimes examining surounding plants, writing in his book, or just sitting, staring at the sky, hoping something would happen. He, eventually, fell asleep.*

The morning comes, Bright and Cheery. Birds are singing, the clouds are nowhere to be seen, the chirldren are playing on the grass, and the men are re-building the town...
...with smiles on their faces....
Kaluth and the Party now stand at the makeshift camp, all in a circle, the same kind of circle they always use when discussing their next move. Kaluth has just aksed the group if you wish to travel to the High Mages Council, or any location in particular, via Teleportal that can be opened up my his fellow mages at the coucil, or if we wish to travel by foot.
He says he was supposed to contact the High Mages last night with a responce..but he was distracted...as hes glaring at Will....so make your choice now.

*After a quick bath and change of clothing, Jenneva bids farewell to the people at the Inn and rides out to meet the others at the makeshift camp. Kal explains to them about the teleport to the High Mage Council*
"Hmm, is that teleport thing really safe? I mean, will it teleport us all at once or just one at a time? And will it definitely take us to where you say it will?"

It is completely up to you...thats 2 votes against, three undecided, not including myself.
Oh and Jenneva, this portal wont turn you inside out or anything strange like that you stupid twit...why would we use the portals for transportation if the fatetalitly rate was even existant? Honelstly girl...
And Cobra, I can assure you that traveling is fine, but transportation to a location never hurts. For example, we could warp a few miles ahead, and out of this forest so we dont have to face the local orc tribes again, or we could even travel back to your home land....heh....This choice is not one made by anyone, it was given to me due to my stature, I advise you not to take it likely, but the decision still rests with you of course.....
