Okay then. To move onto anime/manga again... ...I just picked up Confidential Confessions #3 and I would have to say that it is the best issue so far. This one was about drug abuse with an extra comic at the end, but that part did suck. I want to post the summary, but I can't find one on the Internet at the moment, so I'll post it tomorrow morning or afternoon. Sorry. Hmm... The Chobits series is finished with a total of 8 volumes. Rising Stars of Manga is having its third competition starting in January. Al, if you can, share the information with me. I can never find it on the site. Prices of DVD box sets are still unreasonable. Well, that's all I got on anime...eh, I'll write up the articles from NewType.

If you want to win this "Manga contest" or whatever it is, send your entry early!! Think of how many thousands of entries they get. And think how many of them are probably total crap/stupid/against rules. So they probably pick the winners out of the first hundred, maybe, then just skim through the rest.
Becuase from what little I understand, you have been sending in your entries kind of late.
I mean, it's not a gaurnteed win, or anything... but, every little bit helps, right?

yea...mine are always very close to the deadline...but I also have a hard time gathering the required supplies...
as for anime/manga
i'm looking for Jing: King of Bandits 3 and 4...both should be out right now...but i've had no luck in finding either- not only that...but Rob Ryan (for those who know him), had managed to attain a copy of Kazan 7...an issue of Kazan that I didn't believe even existed...neither of us did...it was three years since we started collecting the series.

Well well, you let loose another manga you want. ;D I read Kazan a long time ago, so I don't really remember what it was like. Sorry.

Same here, but I'm absorbed in my own series right now. It's about giant robots.
Its american, though, so I won't talk about it here. ;D

to Pix: I'll show you the start of the series if you'd like (there's a total of 7, I have 1 through 3)- although, Rob managed to attain no. 4, 5, 6, and...7...darnit.
I just got me a copy of King of Bandits: Jing no.3, it's a really cool series- with, I think, a unique art direction (that's still anime nonetheless- I see elements of Tim Burton-like stylizing in the work) it's just a really good adventure/fantasy manga...although according to book no. 2 it should've been out last month, guess it was delayed...no.4 is now slated for February of next year.
and Will, is it Robotech?
