Nothing about it is funny that I can see. I think it is good that people are coming to together and have a site so that others can be made aware of these dates.

Thank you, Francis, for pointing that line out to me. I'm trying to think of another ending point, but for the moment nothing is coming to me.

You want to know whats so funny about it... Just look at these things they are protesting... and look at how they are protesting them. They are fighting the wrong problems- the same problem I've always had with hippies like this- and honestly, when's the last time protesting has helped anything?

Globalization? Or... trying to improve the economy of third world nations? Why would you want to protest that? Or genetically altered foods!? Wtf, seriously?

They don't even understand the so called 'problems' they are trying to 'fix'.

Well, not that I know everything about the subject, but isn't that a biased way of viewing things? I mean, we dont know these people and whatnot. We dont even know the people they're fighting for or against, at least personally. So how would we know if they know what they know... er... and knowing stuff. Yeah.

And if u're so peeved about how they're handling things, why dont u do something about it? But I agree, whining is so much more convenient.

The fact I won't do anything about it is the very basis of my argument. There's nothing I could do to change these people and its not even my place to do so, so I'm not going to bother trying.

They don't seem to see it that way, though. If there is somethey they don't like, they whine about it- in public, very loudly, where it bothers everyone- and ultimatly acomplish nothing except to be annoying and to make idiots of themselves.

But its fun for me to make fun of them, though, so I do that. Which some might see as whining (which would make me quite the hypocrite) but I ensure you its very different

Oh no, I am completly. But only when it comes to cirtain things... like whiney hippies. They could be spending their time fixing real problems or, at the very least, not getting in the way, but no, they have to muck everything up. They're trying to stop things like stem cells and genetically altered foods. Both save lives and neither has any negative affect (no, nobody has ever been harmed by genetic foods and stem cells do not rip living fetuses from a mother's womb, people...) not only do they not understand the problems but they're really puting a damper on what could be very helpful.

I don't know where you're getting your information from Will. Genetically altering food has caused a few problems. For instance, a few fruits and vegetables have been genetically manipulated to have traits of other fruits and vegetables. If a person picks up said fruit or vegetable and has an allergy to what it has been crossbred with. . .
