The man like figure listened intently to what the large golem said. Silently it crept from the room. More power was available, and at almost no cost. All it took was crystals. These could be found anywhere, well almost anywhere. It was time that he aquired a fair amount of them, after all he didn't want to be a servant forever. He'd actually like to have servants of his own, perhaps that little half-goblin in there.
Kayla continued eating her food slowly, savoring the taste and texture. As she ate she kept her eye on the thing in front of her intrigued by its stores of knowledge. She wondered where the information came from, then decided she really didn't care. Putting the thought out of her mind she looked around for her interesting servant.
"Damn, where did he go?"

Krysta immediately got up. "Energy source heading away from our location." he said, then grabbed Kayla before chasing the figurine. "Initiating pursuit mode." The large golem was pretty slow, even while running.......

Fargo stood silently, taking in all of this new information. Behind him, through the gaping hole in the wall, he could see the building he had been standing on. And below, he could see the people looking up questioningly, though he feared no guards in this poor part of town. Suddenly, in a bit of a spasm, he swung out and hit the wall. This off-balanced him, and Fargo tumbled out the window and into the street below, knocked unconcious.

Kayla was plucked off the ground like a small puppet in the hands of a giant. Damn, she thought to herself, this could be fun if I wasn't so scared. Apparently the giant. . .thing, she still didn't know what it was, could track her former servant. It would be a smart thing to do, the gods only knew how much of the conversation he had heard. If somehow he decided to begin aquiring crystals it would be bad, very bad. What if there were more of them out there? The thought sent shivers down Kayla's spine.

"Power source is heading toward Delta Quadrant." Krysta bellowed, then stopped running and slumped down, letting go of Kayla. "Power supply has reached critically low levels..." he said. "Must recharge.....require H2O to.......recharge..." His seven yellow eyes were flickering dimly....

After a few hours, Fargo awoke in a large, well-lit room.
"Huh? Where am I?" he asked no one in particular. Then he saw that he lay on a pew. He was in a church.
Fargo sat up, looking around and feeling the knot on his head. Things really haven't been going my way lately...
"Oh, you're awake!" A man who was obviously the minister came out of a back room. His flowing black attire seemed to glide, rather than drag, along the ground. He reached his hands out toward Fargo.
"Where am I? What's happened?" Fargo asked. Then he saw an odd glint in the man's eyes. "Who are you!?"

"H2O what's that? I've never heard of it before. Maybe I can help you find it though, what's it look like?"

Water, that woudn't be too hard to find Kayla thought to herself. She released herself from the giant's grip and ran back to the room. She grabbed the flask that had held the wine, and ran into the town searching for a well.
A well was not to be found anywhere, although there were watering troughs. She supposed that would have to work. She filled the flask with water and ran back to help the strange entity that she assumed was working with her to stop that thing. Damn, how vague could things get she asked herself.

Krysta turned to Kayla, who was now returning with a flask of some sort. "Pour........over......." was all he could say until his power supply ran too low to allow for speech.......

The water gushed out of the flask at an incredible rate as Kayla looked on, wondering what was going to happen.

The water was absorbed into Krysta's body, and his eyes regained their normal, yellow glow. "Energy source has been located in Gamma Quadrant." he said, getting up and once again starting into a run. This time, however, it was obvious to all who looked at him that he was incredibly slow.....

Kayla ran along side the giant thing, she had to get its name sometime. It was surprising to her how slow it actually was, slow enough that her short little body had enough time to keep up with it.
The Gamma Quadrant, hmmmm I wonder if that is the elite part of town? Plenty of jewelry shops around always trying to sell baubles to the nobles, and then there are the fantastic houses over there too. It would make sense to look for crystals there first.

Krysta continued to run along the path. "Energy source heading toward Sector 5 of Gamma Quadrant." he said. ".....this unit really wishes he was faster..."

The man like figure grabbed the crystal and chuckled evily to himself as he very calmly wiped the blood from it. The pitiful humans in the shop had thought they stood a chance. If they were the only thing that stood in his way, global domination was looking incredibly easy.
