"Assiming crash position..." Krysta said as he moved to the front of the rug, then enveloped Kayla with one arm while holding onto the rug with the other, standing in a sort of 'kneeled blocking' pose.......

The figure on the ground turned, as if knowing the aerial threat was coming for him. Arms extended towards the rug, and its occupants as a beam of red light shot forth.
When the beam hit it uneashed the forces of entropy. Kayla's small jewlery immedietly began to tarnish, and the flying rug began to unravel in mid air.

Krysta immediately leaped at the figurine, putting Kayla on his back and extending all limbs. "Intercepting target...." he quietly mumbled, planning to land atop the enemy.....

The figure seeing that his plan had failed, smiled darkly. Had it failed, or had he merely played the two for fools? Reaching down into a small pouch tied to his waist he pulled out a small crystal. The figure held it in his hands, aiming it at the large oncoming figure.
A beam of intense blue light shot from the end of the crystal. Heat, tremendous amounts of heat were released into the air along the beam's trajectory.

Krysta was blasted back by the beam, his chest slightly melted. He landed on the floor with a big thud, then gt back up. "Initiating battle protocol..." he murmured as his eyes turned a red hue, then began chanting a spell, lowering the temperature around the figurine to well below zero.....adjusting the battlefield to suit his style....

Kayla dusted herself off reaching for her staff. Things were going to get ugly here, she knew it. She would be of little help in trying to stop this thing. However, she could try and help out anybody that was hurt during the battle. Any unintended parties that was. Looking around she saw there wasn't going to be many of them. Most people had exited the premises when the figure had begun shooting beams into the air. She didn't blame them a bit.
"Do you think you can stop me? Nobody can stop me. Your pathetic attempts to hinder me will only result in your demise. Take your best shot, I dare you!"

Krysta immediately took a chance and launched his fist at the figurine's face. "This unit hopes this works...." he thought......

The fist came flying, slow but powerful. The figure moved towards it, into it. It ducked it's head allowing the massive fist to impact squarely in the middle of its skull. As the blow hit, it continued moving unphased. Before the attacker could attempt another blow, the figure fired a blow to his abdomen.

Krysta just stood there. "This unit is crafted from enchanted ice." he said, readying another strike to the figurine's head. "This unit will not shatter so easily..."

Matters were suddenly complicated by Fargo's entrance.
"Get it! Get it! It's mine! Get it now, and bring it back!" yelled Fargo as he leapt at the figure from seemingly nowhere.
He tackled the figure, and took advantage of the its surprise to tie its hands and feet with a long coil of rope.
"Hah! Now you have it! Just get out of there!" There was a crazed look in Fargo's eyes.

Kayla stared at the crazed figure in wonderment and befudlement. Where had he come from?

Fargo roughly hauled the figure away, hurrying, but stumbling as if he were not his own. He rounded a corner and was gone, along with the figure.
"Hah! You did it! You're not totally worthless after all! Just bring it back to me now," Fargo yelled, painfully mirroring the sharp thoughts transmitted to his mind. He tried to fight the foreign presence away, but it was far stronger than his will. I... I'll bring it back...
