Punching girls is bad, even traitorous ones. Never punch girls.

Disagreed. If you are evil you should punch girls, but generally only if they are "powerless" (That's why you're evil).
Good guys shouldn't punch girls. Even if they are bad guy girls, or even armed. Fighting with weapons is ok though, even if you attack first. And also you can punch a girl once, but only if it knocks her out right away, and doesn't leave a mark, AND you drag her off somewhere safe, too (or leave her in the care of someone else who will). You can even do that to other good guy girls, but they'll slap you later. And the one-time rule means all girls at all, not one-time per female character.
Also none of the normal female character rules apply to bad-ass girl anti/heroines, like The Boss from MGS3. But generally they're too bad-ass to get punched anyway. Bad-ass girl anti/heroines follow the modified "Chaoitc good scoundrel hero" punching rules (In short, only minor punches with no damage are allowed against them, except in climatic battles and torture scenes). EXCEPT you're not allowed to punch them if they're asleep, which is different from the scoundrel rules.

Punching anyone while they're sleeping is a definite no-no. Seriously.

Alright, I just played LOTRO for a while. It was okay, not as good as I'd expected, but that was partly due to the massive amounts of lag I experienced. I just stopped after getting owned by some dude in a hooded robe while trying to save Archet.

Were those actual D&D rules, Will? No Sorry I was just making stuff up. being goofy. I had actually forgot this was the gaming thread [edit] Also, in D&D, punching is a pretty worthless skill. Unless you are really trying to capture someone alive, but even then, there are better ways. Or you are a monk, then you can do all kinds of crazy stuff. In d20 Modern (the present-day equivilent) punching really is almost truly worthless, because when you punch someone, unless you are much higher level then them, it literally has no effect at all.

I was reading the rules, I find it amuzing that a monk is never considered unarmed even without any weapons. Hehe, he is his own weapon! Just like Chuck Norris.

In the last D&D campaign I was going to do (it was with vinny and sarah), originally I was going to be a monk. I don't like the imagery of them in the manual, but after some thought, it'd be really cool to do a martial-arts character.
Oh. And while we're on the subject, one of my (many...) projects was a d20 version of soul saber. That's one that actually came very close to completion. It had eight regular classes (to level 20), and sixteen advanced classes (to level 10), though not all were finished. And in fact all that needed to be done really was to finish off some of the final touches on some of the classes. Although, I still wouldn't have called it "finished", I wasn't so sure about some of the stuff and was thinking about removing or redoing it... but me and vinny stopped hanging out, so all of my D&D campaigns and creations went on indefinite hold...

I got it off of EA link (And then installed EA link immediately afterwards, yuch) in the time it took me to take a shower.
There's a torrent of it too, out there, somewhere.
Today was such a great day for me. The second the demo was done downloaded, the UPS man rang my doorbell and delivered to me another gig of RAM. Woohoo!
So far I've only played one skirmish against an easy comp, just to see the units and the graphics and stuff, and the general flow of battle. I really like what I'm playing so far.

A lot (lot) of things in FF7 get their names from FF6.
