I moved out to arizona, I needed to get out of my old house pretty quick. Its ok out here. Not where I want to be living out of anywhere in the world, but I'll be here for a year and see where I go after that.
I got a job as a technician at an arcade, though, which is a big plus.

I knew it. Then again when they said "We are making a new game, that is not Starcraft, not warcraft, but related to one of our three existing IPs" it gave it away... to me at least  However, didn't Blizzard say they are also working on a new MMO? Not going to be announced (let alone released) for a long time but... if its not diablo, then what is it? They already said its not Starcraft or Warcraft based, right? |

Not sure. If I was a betting man, I'd guess on World of Warcraft 2. No reason for them to steal money from themselves by pushing two of the same genre games.

No they did actually say their new MMO is not warcraft based. They also said its completly different form WoW, which IMO, means it is not an RPG... That way they would not draw from an established customer base, as you said. For exmaple, if they made an MMOFPS, or MMORTS, it would not detract from the WoW user base. ...I can dream... ANYWAY, Diablo III... Necromancer>Witch Doctor. I am very disappointed.  Even so, obviously, I think it will be a great game form what little we've seen. Fighting hordes of enemies again... I can't wait. Too bad it will be like two years... |

Did you ever play Hellgate London? Gameplay wise I hear it's like Diablo, except in first person view and with guns. Made by half the team that made Diablo, right?

That and to get the full features, you have to pay a subscription. I dunno... if I was gonna pay a subscription, I'd just go all the way and get an MMO.
But yeah, it was like diablo, and made by the diablo team, but for some reason just wasn't really as good. And yeah, by default, its in first person (unless you are a melee-only class)... but the first person view sucks so bad it really gives the game a VERY bad first impression. Once I found out how to disable that it was a lot more bearable. After that, it was actually pretty fun, but for some reason it just didn't seem as fun as the original diablo...

Soooo... the new Star Wars MMO was announced today...
I would like a MMO with shooting. Tabula Rasa is aweosme, but small. I real big shooty MMO would be great. Well I mean jedi, yeah, there will be tons of jedi, but I want a gun.
