Im thinking about getting it... but I really don't want to.
I JUST bought X3:Terran conflict, and Left4Dead (DEMO TOMORROW WOOOO). I feel like I shouldn't spend more on games. Which is sad cause I also want Fable II... and a couple other games...
Too much! Gears 2... everything... haha

Fable 2, Wrath of the Litch King. I don't have to buy Gears 2, luckily. I do need to buy a haircut for my dog. I'm so poor. I still owe myself money after pre-ordering Left 4 Dead.

I know this isnt the "Listen to me whine about losing my internet" thread. But we did call comcast today... And they did nothing. They told us to call Acer, the manufactuerer of my computer, and my father said hes not calling and wont pay for possible repairs... So it seems that I wont be getting my internet back...

Just got back from playing the DC story side of DC vs MK and I have to say, its actually pretty dang good. It totally surprised me. They somehow made all the confusion make sense, everything from why others can be on a level playing field with Superman and why the Joker can fight. The storyline was just epic! It made it so that it produced the best scenerios to pit certain characters against each other in battles that you totally wished you could see when we were doodling in our sketchbooks in elementary school. The gameplay actually feels fine once you get the hang of it. Its definitely different and much more simplified than the likes of MK 3, but that's ok because people can just get right into it and have fun (but of course the 'hardcore' fighter crowds might not like it). Moves from any character can be executed with similar motions, kind of like how it is in Smashbrothers, but maybe a few steps above that. But dang, you can feel the power of each hit and blows are so satisfying. And characters u may have thought as lame before, are soooo much cooler now, and I mean in both looks, moves, and personality. Its incredible. So far my favorite DC fighters so far are Lex Luthor (Definitely wasn't going to be my first pick at all, but he was actually surprisingly easy to use and he can dish out the pain well), Superman (his moves are so fluid and quick and he just pounds you away. Makes sense considering who he is), The Joker (holy crap, playing as him was freakin CRAZY, in a good way, and his moves are entertaining. Even when he gets beaten up, he still makes you laugh. Also, he's definitely one of the best personalities in the entire game, he's just so hilarious! One of the big story arcs on both sides is discovering that Joker can fight, hahahaha!). Unfortunately, and maybe it was just because I had to play him while i was still learning the controls, but I found the Green Lantern a bit hard to use, which sucked because he's one of my fav DC characters. But bottom line, seriously, this has got to be the best delivered storyline i have ever seen in a fighting game ( especially in a MK game!). Where most fighting games just pit random characters to just fight each other just because, this game gave plot so that it all freakin made sense and brought up enough history and backstory facts so that the geek outs and nostalgia moments are in high supply. Insane! Mucho fun. Is all I gotta say.

Me, I've been playing left4dead, everyone needs to get it. Its the most cooperative and team-based game I've ever played. IMO, Cooperation is the wave of the future as far as multiplayer-based games go. We started with games that just had deathmatch... we started to move into more game modes like CTF and team deathmatch. Then the next wave of multiplayer games started using team, class-based gameplay to promote more teamwork... And I think we are just moving more and more towards this focus on cooperative playing. Anyway its one of the best multiplayer games I've ever played period... I love it As for DC vs MK, neither of those were universes I was ever interested in, except for maybe the batman universe. But if its good, maybe I'll check it out after price drops.

Anyone still here? There is actually a little activity on some of the other boards "underneath" this one (IE most people can't see it). We were talking about moving it up here if we can keep it going long enough. Anyway, I am getting Warhammer Online tommorow, since the only MMO I ever liked is shutting down in February (Tabula Rasa. Not that it matters now). I don't supposed anyone else here plays it? At any rate, whats up with whoever's still reading? I'm super busy over here. Sarah is moving to AZ with me. A difficult, but worthwhile, endeavor.

School stuff. Man, I can't even stand to be sitting in class right now because all I can think of is all the work I have to do for all my classes before school ends. I wish I was at home writing up my last few papers and putting together my science lab papers instead of listening to this obnoxious professor.

I like the fact that I don't even know about the "underneath" board.
I have a few issues I have to deal with over here, but overall, this chapter in my life is verrrry boring...

There were two underneath boards, thats it. One was for me and dan, since we live together, it gave us an easier way to leave notes for eachother then PMs. Its unfortunate but because of our schedules, despite living together, we only see eachother twice a week. Its not an exaggeration. The other was a one me, vinny, and sarah made back when we lived in NJ. We used it to brainstorm for a D&D RPG that we were gonna play, when we couldn't all be together (Which usually happened on a weekendly basis). That's it. Neither of them saw any real activity, especially since after this place died down. But I forced vinny and sarah to go back on a few days ago Like I said if it keeps up at all, I'll just be moving it out here so it can be more then just us. But as it is, its as dead (or more) then out here, so it really doesn't matter.
