There should also be a character limit. Like maybe five. Which would make tokens very valuable and strategic.

Well, I don't think that tokens need to be limited only to introducing characters, so your idea of nominations could work for a different proposal.
Reasons why I think that encouraging people to introduce further characters is a good idea:
1) It's PBP, and we can thus afford to have more. Take advantage of the format. 2) Multiple story arcs - which I really can't see as a bad thing... 3) Minimises chances of the IC thread stalling. There's always other characters to fall back on if one story arc starts flopping.
Coral (why he's voting still I have no idea...) made the point that people might make 'as many characters as possible' --- well the problem there would be that they'd have to play them. I'm not talking about NPC characters here, but protagonists that add something to the game. If people want to exploit this and make a character, gets them to do something, then discard them after they've made an impact - well, I'm all for that. I think maybe some safeguards to stop people from making meaningless characters could be brought in, but hell, the more meaningful characters the better.

Well, still, the majority vote calls for the removal of your first two rule-things.
And I'm still voting and crap because your post said I was in the order of the voting; implicitly recognizing me as not banished. And if you want me out of the game, you have to repeal that in another proposal, and then you have to ban me AGAIN. =D. I love the rulemaking part of this game =DDD.

I never saw anything that removed Coral from the OOC thread anyway. Just the IC thread.

I think it said banished from the game - that would mean all aspects of it IC and OoC.

Ah well. Coral's argument here is that Aikanaro included him in the turn order even after the proposal to ban him was passed. Coral's argument also depends on Aikanaro's every post being a solid rule that cannot be opposed, in which case Aikanaro can simply re-post the turn order without Coral and have this done with. Why don't we skip that step and move on without Coral?

Because a rule was passed, apparently, that I am in the posting order, meaning I am in the game. You'll have to propose a change of the posting order--AND then propose me banned all over again.

The following is what was actually passed: For these offenses, I propose the permanent and retroactive removal of Coral and his character from the game of Nomic.
Though without the retroactive part. This is to what you're referring: Ah, okay, I think we can call that passed then. The order is now: Aikanaro, Coral, Jalathas, Kilted Crusader, Fargo Squire.
That's not a rule, it's a mistake. Mistakes do not under most circumstances (definitely not these) act as rules that are passed without any votes whatsoever. Aikanaro's post that stated you were in the turn order was not a rule, nor was a rule passed that put you there after you were banned. You are banned, you know. No one can stop you posting, but everyone has the power to ignore posts whose significance has been nullified by your removal from this game. I intend to take this course of action.

Heh - I copy and pasted that order from what Fargo said before. Also - it was not a rule nor a proposal, just a restatement of what the order should be (and inaccurate, at that...)
And no - the majority vote hasn't removed anything yet, as we're still in discussion mode with people suggesting stuff.
From now on I'll ignore everything you say in this thread or related threads.

Good impression, except the little issue of him not doing that.

Actually, he DID do something to that effect once. I had an idea for an RP, a pretty good one that most of the other board members were interested in, and he spammed in it, and called me a racist and a nazi and said all my RP ideas were politically incorrect. That is why I hate bugs.

I think it well and truly died. I know Aik doesn't particularly care what happens to it, which isn't exactly a good sign. I think it's safe enough to plant the gravestone.

Well... It was almost fun while it lasted. Maybe if something had happened it would've been good. Oh well.
