oh yeah, *announcment* Jalathas is one of my squad leader/commander/underling dudes, as long as its okay with everyone else. So BugHunter would arrive, start smoking the main force, (which mostly consists of bugs, with a few infested cruisers) but hed get caught off guard by Jalathas, commander of an infested fleet, hiding behind a moon until now. So he falls back, and we go from there.

"Failure" and "Tactical Withdrawl" are not the same thing... besides, it adds drama. ;D

yeah, we could make it huge if you want. The first all-out confrontation witht he new Swarm. then Jalathas could be hiding behind some planet, while me and the bugs are taking the other planet.

My original idea was that my hunters would kinda liberate whatever was left of this current planet and then whatever was left of the militia would be like "hey, could i join up with you guys?" or something. But since you kinda killed them all... Maybe I'll just have it that they'll find like one battle ship thats like half dead but can still fight. Maybe a frigate! Then I could have my clan take it back and then rebuild it and fix and make it better, stronger, and faster than it was before! Then my guys would have at least one frigate on their side! Wahahaha! An awesome plan! ;D

And the frigate could become the new base of operations. Or, yuou could liberate a lesser planet (one under only minor infestation or something), get recruits form there, and build up an attack force fomr there. And yeah, this is definatly going to span many planets. This one invasion is just the begining- remember, they/we own most of the Draconis system...

Hey I have a question: Does Cass even play any more? Recently its been mostly BugHunter, me, Will, with a little Jalathas on the side. Is she going to show up with the Apocalypse anytime?

I don't think she plays bughunting anymore. I'm sure if we bugged her, she would play. Ecpecially if we had a new chapter, and that chapter featured the renion of all the heroes... Anyway, even though the discussion thread is labeled "Bugs Itch 2", I think we're actually playing through Bughunting III right now... BugHunting I: The first bug war (took place at blizzforums). With the Newbie army... the heroes are defeated... BugHunting II: The second Bug war. The heroes strike back! With the Pop-ups, and Kal become infected. BugHunting III: The current one- whats left of the bugs is trying to rebuild themselves in the draconis sector under the leadership of Kal and Tassatul... BugHunting IV: The spamminator? More Bughunting? Tassatul returns to the light? Who knows!? Even more to come...!?

Discussion is now in discussion thread. Was I implying that I would just say I killed random ships?

I didnt see any major problem with your post Jalathas, I just think BugHunter is setting down some rules. Basically, hes saying his fleet wont be destroyed (but they will take enough damage to retreat), and that you, too, will take some damage. He wasnt being mean or anything, thats just BugHunter And sorry about the fact that you didnt get to burn any planets, BugHunter I'm sure that as the bugs are defeated youll get plenty of chances to glass the surface of a few planets.
