Abishai, you messed up the rank system. It would go: Battalion Captain (CO of Battalion Captain (CO of Company) 1st Lieutenant (CO of Platoon) 2nd Lieutenant (XO of Platoon) Master Sergeant Staff Sergeant Sergeant First Class Sergeant Corporal Lance-Corporal Private 1st Class Just took another look It would go Major General (post commander) Colonel (brigade commander) Lietenant Colonel (battalion commander) Major (battalion executive officer) Captain (battery/company commander) Lieutenant (platoon commander) Seargent First Class (platoon seargant) Staff Seargant (squad leader) Seargent (fire team leader) Corporal (bitch boy for all other NCO's) Specialist (bitch boy for corporal) Private First Clas Private (E-2) Private (E-1) Cobra, take medic and sniping. That way you have your sneaking abilities also. |

I got dibs on Intel Officer, meaning I get to monitor the radio, brief you, stay at my office and all that shiz. And I get my own M4, just incase the base gets invaded... Rank of 2nd Lieutenant
But anyways, a captain has sergeants under him, but lieutenants are between captain and sergeant. I haven't done my time in the service, yet, but I've taken a look at ROTC and plenty of books, and a a movie we call Band of Brothers.
As for Theatre of War, we could have the TNI go mad in indonesia. Its already going insane-o, and perhaps we are inserted to stop it...

well, i want demolitions and... oh i dunno, something else. whatever else is needed in the end. and i dont mind what rank either... i dont really know all that much about military positions so....

Alright I guess what we're working with thus far is:
One individual "staying in the rear" (intel officer)
Sniping and commo for myself
Sniping and medic for cobra
katt wants demolitions
Heavy weapons is just about the only area that hasn't been touched yet.

*LOL* Heavy weapons is anything from toting a 7.76 on up. Basically anything bigger than a M-16 would qualify.

awww, i was gonna be a spotter for the stealth dude, but theres two already, no need for it now.
So this is gonna be kinda like(pardon my video game reference) we're Team Rainbow? But with a cooler name obviously.
So i guess Ill be heavy weapons and demo. Sound good?

Hey, we can have more then one...
and yeah, I was thinking Team Rainbow this whole time as well. Rainbow Six 3 is AWESOME. I have it and it is one of the most twitchy, reflex-jerking shooters I have ever played in my entire life.
In that game, I usually use a H&K UMP (essecntialy a bigger more powerful version of the MP5), and Steyer TMP. If I need a sniper rifle, Berret light .50 all the way. And If I need firepower instead of stealth, I drop the UMP and bring an L85, or a TAR-21.
I dunno if special forces would use those weapons, but thats what I use in Rainbow Six 3.

MP-5's were designed by H and K for use by the special forces. ;D Being one of the sniper's though I'd want to use something with a lighter load of ammo. Probably a .300 winchester magnum. It still is accurate up to about 1,000 yards and packs a pretty big punch.
Nobody really has decided on what rank they want to be. So, I think I'll list again the ones that are availabe (or should be available).

Also prior to becoming special forces, you have an MOS (job) in the service. You'll have to decide what they was. So, anybody wanting to be able to drive tanks. . . fire artillery. . . .

well, ill take the other seargent spot then i guess. i dont know too much about military, so someone else can have the higher up positions.
and would an MOS be like being able to fly helichopters or something? cuz id take that one, like a pilot.
and i guess ill be just demolitions. guess it'll just my forte or something...
